[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

It's just an idea I had while talking to Neku. [He manages to look slightly apologetic for not Sharing With The Class.] Like, this place seems old but it's surprisingly sturdy so I thought maybe it had just been built to look old.

If it was built just to look old... [Even though this place doesn't look too old to Jane. Time travel is weird.] it would explain why there are no windows anywhere. You'd think there would be at least one if this was really an old mansion.

Exactly - it also explains why there's no door. If you build something, you don't have to put in front doors or windows where they would go normally.

[He sure learned with Noby that, uh. There is definitely not a secret code to pressing the buttons in the foyer to make a door appear.]

Like how when they build movie sets they don't build the whole house.

...Then I guess that makes all of us the cheap entertainment for whoever's watching us.

I cant imagine how my mother would feel if she could see all of this. It would probably scare her to death.

My friends would probably try to bust in here and save me, but my aunt - [He shakes his head.] She's gone through enough recently. I don't want her to have to deal with this too.
