Second Trial
[Once everyone makes it the portrait gallery again, they will hear Randall's voice echo through the room.]
I'm not sure what everyone expected. There are a lot of children here and given the situation it was only a matter of time they started dying.
[Charming.
The floor descends once again as Randall begins his speech.]
Our tour begins here in this gallery where you gaze upon the sweet innocence of youth. Ah, but things are not always as they seem. Can it be this room is actually stretching? And notice this: this chamber has no windows and no doors, which offers you this chilling challenge… to find a way out.
Of course, there’s always my way.
[The floor stops again and doors open to the trial room.
At least the trial room doesn't look terribly different, although there are strange burn marks in the summoning circle now. And now, along with Mim, now Woody and Noby's podium has a lit candle and a voodoo doll resembling them (which is perhaps a little redundant in Woody's case).
Randall is already standing within the summoning circle, holding his stick with Facilier's head on it.]
Now then, I hope everyone has fun today.

While we're ruminatin' on um, what happened to N-Noby, um...I though it's important to mention that, um, I found some...blood in the sink. Upstairs, in the bathrooms. And, um, Kit mentioned that the k-killed might've tried to wash their hands recently....
[He trails off for a moment.] I, I think it might be good to check people's hands and see if they're clean or not. Anyone good at sniffin' things out?

I used to be the one to detect poisons for the colony before I became a chef -- got a very sensible nose. I guess I'm the best suited for this...
[Okay, everyone, let's get this done]

[She holds out her hands for inspection. They smell...warm and normal, but not freshly scrubbed.]

[Rocket was working on his stun-gun most of the evening, so his hand-paws currently smell like metal and ozone with a touch of grease or oil. And anything he might have picked up at the crime scene, but he wasn't the one who found the blood evidence so who knows what that actually entails.]

[Soos holds out his hands. They don't smell any different from the rest of him. In fact, it sorta smells like he took a shower last night.]

[His hands smell like the coffee and hot chocolate he made to get at least something in everyone's belly before the trial. The hot chocolate made with hot milk, the way god intended.]
