Second Trial
[Once everyone makes it the portrait gallery again, they will hear Randall's voice echo through the room.]
I'm not sure what everyone expected. There are a lot of children here and given the situation it was only a matter of time they started dying.
[Charming.
The floor descends once again as Randall begins his speech.]
Our tour begins here in this gallery where you gaze upon the sweet innocence of youth. Ah, but things are not always as they seem. Can it be this room is actually stretching? And notice this: this chamber has no windows and no doors, which offers you this chilling challenge… to find a way out.
Of course, there’s always my way.
[The floor stops again and doors open to the trial room.
At least the trial room doesn't look terribly different, although there are strange burn marks in the summoning circle now. And now, along with Mim, now Woody and Noby's podium has a lit candle and a voodoo doll resembling them (which is perhaps a little redundant in Woody's case).
Randall is already standing within the summoning circle, holding his stick with Facilier's head on it.]
Now then, I hope everyone has fun today.

There must be some mistake, then.
LeFou is -
[ Not special, certainly. ]
...Well, he's just LeFou.
...Did you say demi-god?
no subject
[Moana grins.]
Maui, Shapeshifter, Demigod of the wind and sea, Hero of Man.
no subject
Ah.
[ He shakes his head pityingly. ]
LeFou must have been simply lost without me. Latched on to the first supposed "hero" he found...
[ He leans close to Moana, as if sharing a secret. ]
He can be quite clingy, you know.

[It's not like it could possibly be--]
...unless you're jealous.

LeFou has been a constant in his life since before the War. A reliable shadow, always there to back Gaston up, to clean up messes he didn't want to deal with, to quash any stirrings of discontent or rebellion in his little kingdom.
He'd come to rely on him, perhaps more than he should have. But Lefou was always there, always willing...And above all, always loyal.
Until the end, something in him whispers. Until the castle, and Maurice. And now...this other hero. This Maui.
He banishes the thought. His eyes have narrowed in cold anger, but with a struggle, he pushes it all away, forcing himself to smile at the girl. ]
Of course not!
Just...worried. For his safety, you know. Who knows how this Maui might treat him?
I'd hate to think of him...well. Taken advantage of.
no subject
...if you're really worried, then meet with him yourself. We get out of here, we can find our friends.
Then you'll see that I'm not wrong.
no subject
Who knows what ideas he might get in his head, off in the world without Gaston.
He smiles, a little too predatory not to be unsettling, and nods. ]
Yes. We'll see who's wrong.
