[Two more people died this week. Two children. And they died because of a freak accident. Despite all your protests, Randall refused to let Jane get away despite being innocent.

But there is a tiny ray of hope now, which comes in the form of the mirror. Now that the mirror is public information, you can see people you care about, even if they are dead and trapped in hell. Not only that, but you now now that someone is trying to save you all from the predicament that you're in. And this time there's a good chance that he won't turn out to be a heartless mass murderer!

Still, the ideas for the plan are vague and you have no idea when you will actually get out. It's hard to keep up hope when your only chance of living might still end with you horribly killed, isn't it?

At least you have a new floor and the ability to wash your clothes now.

[ Jyn pauses for a long few seconds, thinking. ]

Before this conversation goes anywhere else, I'm angry you lied to me. I understand why, I think, but I'm angry about that.

You said earlier that... superheroes and supervillains change sides. So - and please, answer this honestly... is the you I've been talking to... you?

That's- that's fair, I'd be worried if you weren't honestly...

...Yeah. I... don't think I've done anything I wouldn't already do. I didn't tell anyone else about the, uh, big crimes. I tried to be as honest as I could be without giving myself away.

I know a lot about grief. I... everyone I've ever been close to before coming here is dead. And I can't imagine it would have done much to keep my reactions to that grief healthy if I had superpowers. I can't say I agree with trying to take over the world, but... as long as you keep trying to be the person I've seen you to be, the lying is all I'm angry about right now.

It's... I know you're trying. And that's part of what I like about you.

I can't... say it's alright just yet, but... I'm glad you told me now rather than later. But no... no more lies, alright?

But the faintest best case scenario she considered told Allene that an upset Jyn who needed some time was gonna be the result no matter what.]

[Her morals may need less binary and more understanding and she can absolutely acknowledge that.]
