[Two more people died this week. Two children. And they died because of a freak accident. Despite all your protests, Randall refused to let Jane get away despite being innocent.

But there is a tiny ray of hope now, which comes in the form of the mirror. Now that the mirror is public information, you can see people you care about, even if they are dead and trapped in hell. Not only that, but you now now that someone is trying to save you all from the predicament that you're in. And this time there's a good chance that he won't turn out to be a heartless mass murderer!

Still, the ideas for the plan are vague and you have no idea when you will actually get out. It's hard to keep up hope when your only chance of living might still end with you horribly killed, isn't it?

At least you have a new floor and the ability to wash your clothes now.

[He can certainly hear the door unlocking, but nothing special beyond that. It’a fairly mundane.]

[ To Kim, this is a bit more of an affair. She hears the click and gasps, all at once nervous and...excited? ]

[Grinning with satisfaction, Stan takes the pins out of the lock, and gestures at the handle.]

[ ...Nervous hair-tuck, despite herself. ]

Y-yeah. ...Oh, gosh, what'll we do if he's in there...?

[Stan cracks his knuckles and gets back up on his feet (his knees crack about as much as his knuckles).]

If he didn't want us breakin' in, he shouldn't have used such a pickable lock.

[He gives her a bracing pat on the back.]

[It’s an incredibly large room, far more modern than the rest of the rooms in the manor. The bed is made and there are a pair of couches, as well as a television with an attached VHS player.

Things that seem notable right off the bat? Two wax statues that...appear to be in the process of melting, a walk-in closet that’s currently closed, and a desk with various items scattered across it. But most importantly, no sign of Randall.

Why am I not surprised our warden gets the nice room.

[What do these wax statues look like?]

[One of the statues is of a lion and the other is of a a green-skinned woman. Both are well-worn and appear to be melted slightly. They’re on the same bases as the ones in the wax museum.]

[Well, he knows what can become of wax figures. Are they near a heating vent, or anything else that might have started melting them?]

[There’s no source of heat in the room, surprisingly.]

...Huh, cold in here.

[He reaches out and carefully pokes one. Assuming nothing out of the ordinary like the wax being warm and flesh-like and giving to the touch, he goes on to the closet next.

Let's see what Randy's got in his drawers.]

[The closet is fairly large and roomy, and still incredibly dark despite the introduction of light. There is what appears to be another statue shrouded in darkness, but there are much more pressing concerns. Namely, there are six hangers in the closet. Only three of them are being used at the moment, and they have...

...Are those skinsuits? Weird looking skinsuits.]

Son of a--! [...What kind of skinsuits are we talking here, are we talking like full "it rubs the lotion on its skin" type skin suits??? Are they regular tailored suits made out of human skin, or are they like. People who are missing their meats.]

[They look a lot more complete than Silence of the Lambs type, and each of them come with full outfits.]

Does the closet smell like rotting meat, out of curiosity, or does it smell more like a tannery.]

[ Okay, phew, he's not here. ...Kim did kind of roll her eyes at the idea that he'd need to protect her, it's fine, Stan, she's...got experience with punching things-

Right away, though: ] Of course the guy gives himself the fancy one. Ego, much?

[There’s only a single desk drawer, which appears to contain a number of photographs. The top of the desk largely has desk toys and a few VHS tapes.]

[There’s a few more in here. At the top of the pile are picture of individuals who resemble figures from the wax museum in what appear to be candid shots, and a few newspaper clippings about something called EPCOT closing down.]
