[Two more people died this week. Two children. And they died because of a freak accident. Despite all your protests, Randall refused to let Jane get away despite being innocent.

But there is a tiny ray of hope now, which comes in the form of the mirror. Now that the mirror is public information, you can see people you care about, even if they are dead and trapped in hell. Not only that, but you now now that someone is trying to save you all from the predicament that you're in. And this time there's a good chance that he won't turn out to be a heartless mass murderer!

Still, the ideas for the plan are vague and you have no idea when you will actually get out. It's hard to keep up hope when your only chance of living might still end with you horribly killed, isn't it?

At least you have a new floor and the ability to wash your clothes now.

[ She gently places one hand on Allene's cheek. ]

You can close your eyes, if you're nervous. I'm told that helps.

...Okay. [She still has one hand in Jyn's and she kind of rubs it on some kind of reflex. But she slowly closes her eyes.]

[ After a moment, Jyn leans forward, and...

Much like hugging, kissing is something Jyn hasn't done in a while, but she's been reflecting on Hadder long enough that she remembers how this goes. The kiss isn't pushy, or forceful, or anything like that. Just a gentle press of her lips against Allene's, for a moment or two, maybe one and a half moments, before she slowly pulls back. ]

[Allene Green did not exist for a few seconds there. That was a moment in time where her soul was not in her body. It was far away, in a world of pure, unadulterated bliss. Where nothing was beyond reach, where anything was possible, and she was getting kissed by a really cute girl who is unbelievably understanding and nice.]

[And then the moment after the moment Jyn pulls away, she loses her support on the wall and falls onto her ass on the floor.

She looks up at Jyn with the most goofy expression she's ever had in her entire life.] ....Wow.

[ Jyn, meanwhile, after taking a moment to make sure Allene didn't just... pass out or something, sits next to her. ]

Guess I'm not too rusty.

[She absolutely leans her head on her.]

No, it was... wow.

[And she finds herself giggling, a little, like she's teen gushing about a crush or nervously covering embarrassment. It feels like both.]

[ Jyn Erso is 100% okay with this. ]

I think it's fair to say we're official now, hm?

[ Jyn laughs. ]

I do think you should tell the others the truth too, though. At least think about it.

There's a couple heroes that just go by their name. You could make it work. Unless you want a cool alias!

[She gets quiet and thoughtful at that part.]

...How mad do you think they'll be?

They'd have to know who Jyn Erso is, first.

[ She sighs. ]

I think... some might be, but they'll be much angrier if it comes out some other way. But as long as you keep working to be someone they can trust, it should be fine in the end.

[She stares at the ceiling in consideration, still lying on Jyn's shoulder.]

...I started thinking about it again. After Noby died. "If I was in charge, I could make sure nothing like this happened again. I could make everything perfect." And when Freddie was saying all that stuff in front of Jane, I thought I was gonna lost it on her.

I wanna be good so bad. For them. For Doreen. For you.

But I think this place could break me.

[astronomics]

Being good isn't just about beating things that are bad, Allene. I don't think so, anyway. But... if you're worried about that, then I'll stay by you. Help you along.

[ She puts an arm around Allene's shoulder. ]

You know, when the Rebels found me to bring me on board? I was in prison for assault and forgery. It's not trying to take over the world, but. People can change.

Yeah. That's the hard part. [Doreen was so big on compromise and negotiation and Allene just. Doesn't get it. If you're right, why talk things out?]

Mmmmmmmm. I bet it was really good forgery though. Like, top of the line stuff.

Everyone in Saw's militia did say I was one of the best forgers they'd ever met.

That's my girl. [She's... gonna be a little brave and kind of snuggle into her. It just feels nice to rest here together.]
