[Two more people died this week. Two children. And they died because of a freak accident. Despite all your protests, Randall refused to let Jane get away despite being innocent.

But there is a tiny ray of hope now, which comes in the form of the mirror. Now that the mirror is public information, you can see people you care about, even if they are dead and trapped in hell. Not only that, but you now now that someone is trying to save you all from the predicament that you're in. And this time there's a good chance that he won't turn out to be a heartless mass murderer!

Still, the ideas for the plan are vague and you have no idea when you will actually get out. It's hard to keep up hope when your only chance of living might still end with you horribly killed, isn't it?

At least you have a new floor and the ability to wash your clothes now.

Gymnastics. ...Whatever I can do, without the right equipment.

Right, I suppose it would be... difficult without a beam and mats.

Well, I'm glad I don't have to explain it. Who knew if they'd have gymnastics in space?

Yeah, I just go through like...the floor routine. Try not to do anything too strenuous.

We have a lot of things in space. We have cats, that was surprising. They don't look the same, but they're cats.

It's a shame we don't have a gym with all these rooms.

I'll have to ask you to tell me about those cats, sometime.

I keep wishing for beams or a vault...even just one mat... But it can't be helped. Don't think Randall's the type to understand what people like to do with their time.

I like cats. Your cats seem interesting too, if the books in the library are any indication.

Unless it's drinking, of course.

Right. Of course there's a bar... I think it's a horrible thing to have here. You can make so many mistakes while drunk.

True. Which, of course, is why we've been given one. And now we have a pool, too.

Hm... You know, he really is...a stickler for them, but I don't think having Mr. Arrow's extra rules around the pool is a bad thing. Lots of accidents can happen there.

[astronomics]

True. I don't know if I agree with his rules elsewhere, but as long as there are children here...

I guess we just wait to see what deathtrap Randall gives us next.

[ Children... God, she worries so much about the rest of them, after what happened to Noby and Jane. For a moment, a wince of pain crosses Kim's face, but she covers it up quick enough. ]

Honestly, I'm...surprised that infirmary was even stocked with bandages instead of just scalpels.

[ Oh trust her, Kim, Jyn regretted saying that the second she did. ]

Maybe we can actually do some good with them.

[ Infirmaries: well-known in murdergames for being great and helpful ]

Lying about her past, luckily, still comes naturally to Jyn. Like riding a speeder. ]

I've been thinking, lately, about... when I was seventeen, a boy I was friends with came forward to me and told me he wasn't who he said he was. He'd taken the identity of his twin brother, who had died, to avoid criminal charges. What do you say to something like that?
