Week 4
[Two more people died this week. Two children. And they died because of a freak accident. Despite all your protests, Randall refused to let Jane get away despite being innocent.
But there is a tiny ray of hope now, which comes in the form of the mirror. Now that the mirror is public information, you can see people you care about, even if they are dead and trapped in hell. Not only that, but you now now that someone is trying to save you all from the predicament that you're in. And this time there's a good chance that he won't turn out to be a heartless mass murderer!
Still, the ideas for the plan are vague and you have no idea when you will actually get out. It's hard to keep up hope when your only chance of living might still end with you horribly killed, isn't it?
At least you have a new floor and the ability to wash your clothes now.

(Last two weeks like clockwork, this night's spelled disaster, but maybe just maybe, since this week is just annoying not dangerous, she hopes--)

Kim's voice startles Marco a little bit, and he flinches and almost drops the mic like before but luckily he catches it before it actually hits the ground.]

[Actually, he's excited to see her since she's the only one he actually told about Love Sentence before and hopefully won't bully him about it.]
Yeah, that was one of their songs. The original is, like... wayyyy better than my crummy voice singing it, though.

Aww, no, I thought you sounded great! ...Well, you sounded like you were having fun, and that's the point of karaoke, right? It's got a different sound than what I'm used to, but...it was kind of nice! Really bouncy.

Their lead singer, Justin Towers, is a vocal genius Kim. I really wish the had the originals on here, but I guess it wouldn't be karaoke if they did.

[ She just trots on over to the machine too, to stand on her tiptoes and peer around him, reading over his shoulder. ]

Marco flips through them all, until a mischievous grin spreads on his face and he selects a song. And he can't help but jump into the middle of the room and sing along even though he was totally planning on letting her just listen to the harmonies and Justin Towers sweet, sweet voice.]

[Well that's asking a lot, because she's really special. There's just so much to say about her, honestly.]
Well... she's the princess of another dimension. She came over to mine because of a foreign exchange.. thing and they put her in my house because my parents kind of love fostering exchange students.
[And because he's literally the safest kid in school. But he's not going to embarrass himself with that.]
She lived with us for.. gosh, a little under a year I think? And then I moved in with her after she had to leave.
To call her "special" is kind of an understatement, at this point.

[Marco nervously runs a hand through his hair, and he moves to take a chair and drag it over to sit in.]
I didn't move in with her because I wanted to, like, date her or anything. I just.. I got so used to living with her that it was really hard adjusting. I really missed her after she left.

It... I mean I chose my girlfriend at the time! I did but.. but she could tell I was just miserable without Star, and she didn't want me to force myself to be happy for her sake.
[Marco sighs, bringing a hand up to rub at his face.]
I don't think I'm good for relationships, Kim. I'm gonna die alone with my twelve lazer puppies while everyone I've ever loved gets married to someone better, because Marco Diaz is a huge screw-up.

Come on. I'm sure that's not true. You can't help who you love. It...is rough that she had to tell you herself, but it just means she- Jackie? That she cares about you. It sounds like you were in the middle of an impossible choice. It doesn't mean you're bad for relationships.

I just really need to move on from both of them, I think. But I don't know how or who or any of that. And on top of that, I'm so scared about dying in this place that it's just making everything more stressful and urgent, y'know?
