Week 4
[Two more people died this week. Two children. And they died because of a freak accident. Despite all your protests, Randall refused to let Jane get away despite being innocent.
But there is a tiny ray of hope now, which comes in the form of the mirror. Now that the mirror is public information, you can see people you care about, even if they are dead and trapped in hell. Not only that, but you now now that someone is trying to save you all from the predicament that you're in. And this time there's a good chance that he won't turn out to be a heartless mass murderer!
Still, the ideas for the plan are vague and you have no idea when you will actually get out. It's hard to keep up hope when your only chance of living might still end with you horribly killed, isn't it?
At least you have a new floor and the ability to wash your clothes now.
26 guests remain.]
[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
[Don't forget to fill in this week's activity check!
...There might also be someone new threadjacking some toplevels this week too. If you want to opt out of this, just let us know!\

She’s a special little girl. Nothing’s ever gonna stand in her way.
[He says, in the proud way of someone who’s been wrapped around Mabel’s little finger since the first time he held her as a baby.]
First time Ford met her, he was giving her some kind of checkup and he told her to say “ah” and she coughed glitter all over him.

Before she completely screwed up as a parent. Before he was taken away from her.
The story startles a laugh out of her, bringing her once more out of her reverie.]
That's...worrisome, but I can also picture it clearly. [Eyeing him dubiously.] Doesn't run in the family, does it?
no subject
Nah, she's one of a kind.
[He flexes his arm a little to give her arm a squeeze.]
Then again, who knows? She is technically the first real Pines girl.
no subject
[Was that a gross thing to say? Absolutely. Does she care? Not really, at this point.
And, okay, muscles. She's into that.]
Really? You don't have any...sisters or anything?
no subject
Nah, there's- [He counts off on the fingers holding his coffee cup, starting with his pinky.]
Stanford, and me, and then when we were about sixteen Ma had Shermie. And Shermie is Mabel and Dipper's grandpa.
no subject
Well. She shouldn't think too much about it.
She nods her understanding.]
You poor mother. Three boys... [She chuckles, but her eyes are a little haunted, after the conversation with Kim earlier.] One was hard enough.

She's a phone psychic- Well, she was, she's retired now. Still lives in Jersey, in a little old folks' condo.
She's the one who taught me how to really sell people what they wanna hear.
no subject
She taught you how to grift, then? [There's a hint of laughter around the lines of her mouth.] She must be quite a lady.
1/2
You're the first person who ain't made "grifter" sound like an insult, honey-
2/2
I mean, uh-
no subject
There was a time I'd have given you a verbal lashing for that.
[Her face tilts upward, inviting.]
Lucky for you, I've mellowed out.
no subject
Whaddya know.
[He extracts his arm from hers so that he can instead slide his hand down to take hers, giving her a sheepish smile.]
So have I.
[He leans down and takes that invitation, kissing her.]
no subject
The hand that's not enveloped in Stan's reaches up, up, up to loop around his neck, giving her a little bit more leverage.]
no subject
He chuckles a quiet breath in the space between their mouths.]
You’re making me feel like a damn teenager.
no subject
I don't see you complaining.
no subject
[He tilts his head so that instead of another kiss, his nose boops lightly against hers.]
no subject
It takes all sorts.
[Teasing. She's teasing. She moves her nose in an approximation of a Tauntaun kiss, nuzzling his just a little, and then pulls back, looking contemplative.]
You know, there's something I should have told you the other day. Before Mabel came in.
no subject
Yeah? What is it?
no subject
[Her hand unwinds from his, moves up to caress his stubbly cheek.]
I care about you, too. Even though...everything in me says that's a terrible idea.
no subject
Lucky for you, I can be stubborn enough to make a terrible idea work.
...If you wanna try.
no subject
What the hell. If I'm going to die here, I might as well enjoy myself first.
