[It's definitely hard to see the cause of death because of how small Remy is. There are no obvious wounds on his body or anything, or at least no blood.]

She has to take a deep breath or two, but she finally reaches over to feel for any broken bones or internal damage.]

[As she looks closer, she would notice that Remy has definitely dealt with a lot of blunt force trauma and broken bones.

And... she might also notice something in his hands.]

There are some hairs in his hands (paws?).]
