[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.

Something has to give.]

[He looks at the fruit from the corner of his eye.] The fruit? Is it from your planet?

Yes... but it's strange. I've never actually been to the place where they grow.

How's that strange? Does it grow deep inside a hidden jungle, guarded by all sorts of rocks and monsters, that only the bravest of farmers can go into?

[chainbroke]

No, it's an island. The tree--it grows out in the open. I've never had the chance-- [ or right ] --to go.

[folkscallmewander]

[A hidden island! That sounds so mysterious!]

Once we get out, you've gotta take us to that island. And you're comin' with us.

[chainbroke]

Oh-- I'd like to, but I'm not sure I... [ She bites her tongue at what she's about to say. ] I'm not sure the people who live there would be very pleased with so many people suddenly arriving.

Do you live on Earth?

[It's the planet that isn't used to travelers from outer space. Putting two and two together, Wander thinks this is also the case.]

No... It's not a place I really live. It's such a small world, after all... It's called Destiny Islands.

[folkscallmewander]

Small...?

[Oh. Oh.]

Destiny Islands is a planet?

[chainbroke]

I think that's what would be easiest for you to call it... Everyone, where I come from, calls it a world.

[World, planet, what's most important that it sounds like Namine could be from his universe. With so many here from the gigantic planet call Earth that they never have to leave, he was concerned that he and Sylvia (and Lefou from Planet France) were the only ones used to tiny planets where residents regularly traveled between.

Namine...is normal. Wander claps loudly.]

That's amazin'! You also got space travel between worlds, where anyone can leave their planet and head on over to the next one to do shoppin' or travel or go to work? There's a few towns on each world, fostering a sense of community due to a common place of residence? Every world is unique and different from the last one? Is Destiny Islands mostly water with lots of islands on it?

[This is a lot of questions, sorry. Wander gets excited easily.]

[ Oh, no, he's so excited... it's really endearing! And that he's so enthusiastic really surprises her. ]

Well, it's not really... space travel. I travel through the corridors connecting the worlds. It used to not be that way, but something happened to connect them. Most people don't know about other worlds, and it's supposed to stay that way. There aren't a lot of people like me who travel between them.

As for the Islands... It's mostly water, with just a couple of islands.

[That's...disappointing. In a sense, it's like Earth but sadder considering their planet isn't some sort of giant amalgamation of hundreds of planets.]

Well...it's good you can travel, but what about the rest of the folks? Shouldn't they know there's a whole galaxy out for them to explore?
