WEEK 2
[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.
Something has to give.]
[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
{ooc: Don't forget to turn in your week 1/intro AC! As per murdergame tradition, this begins our new weekly schedule - Tuesday and onwards are locked for the motive. Everybody's just working for the weekend.
Additionally, a few people this week are going to get tagged by...something. If you'd like to opt out of this, please let us know.}

stretching room
This while 'building' thing is a drag. She sniffs her way into the stretching room, simply out of a desire to do something, and finds Elsa examining one of the portraits very closely.]
Notice something?
no subject
Not odd enough that Elsa looks visibly weirded out, and she certainly doesn't avoid talking with her. All it is is that little voice at the back of her head wondering if things could get any weirder than they are now.]
I think so... tell me, have you encountered any other spirits here, aside from our host?
no subject
Still, Kiara isn't remotely observant enough to notice anything off about Elsa's reactions to her, and after days of "omg a talking lion!" over and over, it's quite refreshing to just skip that whole thing and get on with it.]
Well, I don't actually believe that he's a spirit, but no, I haven't. Why?
no subject
[She's, uh.... not sure what sorts of things lions and other animals might believe in, so she's pretty curious]
Ah, do you see that man with the hat? [She points to the far right portrait, the one with three men stacked on top of each other.] I encountered another spirit. The only thing I could see was a hat, that looked exactly like that one there.
no subject
[Spirits just don't work like that, okay. For one thing, he's just some rando, and for another, he still looks like he did in life. All whole and with all his parts and stuff.]
Really?
[She stalks toward the picture and stares up at it, tail swishing in thought.] It was just a floating hat?
no subject
... You know, I haven't stopped to think of that. It's quite a good theory! Or maybe he didn't even change his appearance, and what we're seeing is some sort of... fake?
[The only other time she saw such a thing was when she was a child, and the projection formed by the troll's magic wasn't nearly as detailed as their host looked, but... it could just be a different sort of power?]
Unless hats can speak, I don't think so. He even gave me his name; he said to call him "Ezra".
no subject
Something like that! Trickery for sure.
[She doesn't believe a thing she's told, here.]
Ezra, huh. Did he say anything else?
