WEEK 2

[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.

Something has to give.]

...I can show you! [He reaches over to grab WALL-E's wrist.] C'mon, I got some things in my room to test it out on.

[Okay, sure: lead the way, Wander!]

[He pulls WALL-E as fast as he thinks the robot can roll, straight to his room. The bed blanket is wrinkled and the desk is littered with prizes, but on the chair rests a cape.]

We can put in the pillows and cape, add in soap and water, then see how that goes! Or, I dunno, make the cape wet and try to dry it out inside you.

[... If you think they'll fit? WALL-E opens that compartment in his chest to let Wander examine the size of it first here before attempting anything potentially dangerous.]

[Wander sticks his hand into the machine, because that is the smart thing to do.] Kinda small, but the cape will work.

[He folds it into a neat square and pushes it in.]

[It fits! But are you sure that you wanna test this? The noise that WALL-E's processors begin to make now sounds a bit louder than you'd expect of a simple drier, after all...]
