[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.

[It's been an awful long time since he was actually on the farm, but at least that's one of the few places in his mind he never saw fit to erase anything from.]

Well I wouldn't know about cool exactly but that's probably because I grew up with it and all. Is there... I mean, is there somethin' you'd want to know about?

Hmm--tell me what you liked about living on a farm! How are pigs? I heard they're really smart, surprisingly. There's some farmers back home, but it's--a little different, folks don't see them often.

[He never thought he'd hear the phrase 'how are pigs' ever in his life and yet here he is.]

Oh, sure. They're awful smart. We had a couple who figured out how to undo the latch on their pen, once. They didn't go too far but gettin' them back in was a trial.

Woah, seriously? I was thinking like, dog smart, but never seen a pooch unlock something! So how'd you wrangle 'em back? Leave a trail of hashbrowns?

Ah, naw. There was enough of us we could just herd them back in. Y'know, surround them and shoo them in the right direction. Ukelily set her pet goose on them and I think that was about the time they decided they'd rather be in their pen if given the choice.

[This is... actually kind of helping. It's weird talking about his childhood with someone who he's only just met but, well, this situation is already real goddamn weird. He'll survive.]

Okay see, I've never seen a real goose, but I've heard the stories. That proves those are some smart pigs, dang!

[He was kind of expecting Mike to remark upon the name -- people usually do.]

[buddy he has a friend named Texas and his bestie goes by Lord Vanquisher when larping, he has learned not to judge.]

Nice! She sounds sweet but not the kinda person to cross if she's got a pet goose on her, heh.
