[Nearly two weeks in the Haunted Mansion have passed. Parties were had, friends were made. In fact, maybe you've completely forgotten about the motive looming over all of you. However, as what might be dawn approaches the Mansion, you feel a strange feeling of dread as you wake up. Is it all in your head? There's only one way to find out.

Star kneels down next to Karolina and... tries to shake her awake. She's totally not dead. Not at all.]

Either way, one thing Star will notice besides after the shininess is the large amounts of blood around her body.]

[She's probably getting it all over her PJs but she doesn't care.

The least she can do is figure out where all the blood is coming from.]

[The blood is centered around a wound in Karolina's stomach.]

[She's dead. Like, seriously dead. An announcement and everything, that made it official.

No chance of this being some stupid prank.

Wendy just, kind of stands beside Karolina, slowly crouching down to look at her closer. She was sparkling just like the day they met.]

...You were going to visit, you jerk.

Is Wendy looking anywhere particular at Karolina?]

[It's fine. Everything's fine. Her friend's dead body is fine.

In particular, she's looking at her face and her hands. The hands, because she could be holding something. That's how it works in those detective shows.

The face because... well, she just wants to see it, yeah? Checking for injuries is also a thing too, she guesses.]

The most obviously thing that's off with those areas is the bandage on Karolina's hand.]

Okay, this sucks and all, but looks like there's more after this.

[And Demyx doesn't want to be caught with his pants down, so to say. That announcement said something about clues, trials and an investigation. For once Demyx is going to get off his ass and look for stuff. Recon skills, go!

There must be something useful around here, right? Anything that shouldn't be in a kitchen? Besides the body, that is]

[Well there is a bedsheet near Karolina's stomach wound.]

[A bedsheet...like someone tried to bandage her? Or just lying around?]

[It's balled up and covered in blood, like someone was trying to capture the blood.]

[Coffee was going to be a thing, but it would be weird to make it in the middle of a crime scene. And the body has enough people poking at it, so Tadashi's going to see if there's anything unusual on the counters. A potential weapon missing or maybe Karolina or her killer left something.]

[Actually, the counters look almost unusually normal, it looks like someone was cooking at some point last night.]

[Well that could be anyone. Except maybe the cricket, wasn't he too small to handle any utensils?

Any indication of what was cooked?]

[A whole lotta vegetables, it seems like. There also seems to be two cutting boards

... Also I lied, there is some small traces of blood on the counter as well.]

[Not knowing what else to do with herself right now, Sophie checks the trash, looking for anything that shouldn't be there.]

[Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary with the trash, at least.]

[Well that's a good sign. While she's looking though she might as well check where the food is kept as well as the cabinets and drawers in case anything is missing or such.]

[The cabinets and fridge look pretty normal, although some vegetables and a pot is now missing from them.]

Mike just kinda hangs back the whole time folks are investigating, letting folks get their tears and anger out and finding the clues. When it's a little less crowded he'll check the body once more, just in case, though Star and Demyx may have it covered, too.

Can she be turned over?]

[She can however as Mike turns her over he should realize that there seems to be nothing really wrong with her back.]

[NEAT then lets not disturb the body too much then. Nothing to be gained from flipping her face first in a puddle of blood.

He just gives her one more quick once over. Is there anything else off about the body? He's not gonna pickpocket a dead girl if there's no reason to. Not tactful at all.]

[Well there is the fact that she's still sparkling, she isn't normally like that. Maybe the cause as to why she's like that now around here somewhere?]
