In the fourth floor bathroom, there was blood in the sink. I also found a wet paper towel and a screwdriver in the trash.

I think the screwdriver is what stabbed her? There was a bit of dried blood on it.

Soos' breath nearly catches in his throat. Something that he's cherished since he was little, and has been a sort of comfort object for him while he's been stuck here, was possibly used to kill someone. It disturbed him greatly.
