SURVIVORPOOL INVESTIGATION

[Well! You’ve been offered a way out by the god of death. That in and of itself seems relatively suspicious, but, you don’t have much else to do at this point. Some of you might be craving the sweet release of death at this point.

Randall’s room has been unlocked, courtesy of Facilier, and the door within is wide open. So, what are you going to do? D-danger lurks behind you, there may be a stranger out to find you.

[She chuckles lightly, admiring the craftsmanship.]

Working hard or hardly working, amirite?

[She looks around to see if anyone heard her amazing zinger. If not, she shouts:] HUMP DAY!

[...With that she'll examine the photo first.]

[It’s a photo of a dapper looking photo with his arms around a smaller familiar-looking cartoon character. They’re both in an animation studio, and look incredibly happy.]

[....huh. That's. Yikesarino.]

Boy I hope we didn't just break into Randy's nursery.

[She'll pop open the frame to see if there's anything else about it worth investigating.]

[There’s writing on the back of the photo: FOR YOU]

[...Well, she can't say no to that! She'll pocket that and put it in her bag.

[There is a coaster that features a logo incorporating the words ‘33’ and what appears to be a stack of more photos.]

[Sinister! But more importantly, she's gonna skim through this yearbook of funtimes that await.]

What's 'hump day?'

[Hi Allene, Leia is here looking tired as shit. She....didn't sleep last night but she's here and she's determined to save all their loved ones, even if they have to go through this investigation bullshit again.

She picks up the stack of photos and starts looking through them.]

Its like, uh, middle of the week? And you're ready for it to end.

That's...mundane. I thought it might be a holiday. Like Life Day.

That sounds like a cool one! Is that a big holiday?

[she nods!] On Kashyyyk. The homeworld of the Wookiiee. My family and I spent quite a few Life Days there, celebrating with a close friend.

[The first few photos are just of Randall, and he’s taking pictures and selfies around the mansion. During the trial, with the motive envelopes, next to Kim and Marco while their backs are turned (the words ”MY FRIENDS :) are written beneath it).

However, the next few photos are considerably more dated and don’t feature him at all.]

Oh. [Leia grimaces in visible distaste.] I'm...very glad your plan worked, Allene. Why was he so creepy? About everything?

[Alright, moving on ahead. What are those next few photos like?]

[There’s a few selfies of the cartoon devil that was on the photo on the table, also set in the mansion. A few of them are with people who resemble the wax statues - a large yodeling man, a green woman with horns, a fat chicken man. Some are with people you recognize, such as Facilier and Hades.]

Well, based on that horn Freddie had, that she said came from Randy...

[She holds up those selfies and shows them to Allene.]

I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is his true form.

Makes sense. Why pretend to be so many other people though?

[She's gonna grab that Facilier one though.] We're gonna need to talk to Doc about that first round more, I think.

[It’s fine. It’s all fine.

...Wanna keep going? There’s a lot here.]

Couldn't say. Maybe he was self-conscious about being a piece of Bantha shit.

[Alright, moving right long, what else we got here.]

[There’s a photo of an old man and his wife sitting on a porch, on what appears to be Halloween night. The wife resembles Medusa with her hair curlers, and the old man is wearing a devil costume.

The next is another selfie of a larger, jolly man on an island. There’s a Ferris Wheel in the background, as well as a horde of donkeys behind him.

Afterwards, a few photos from the bow of a ship. There’s a couple candids of a slender gentlemen wearing a tie, mid-laugh, with the label ”BEAU <3”. The survivors might recognize him, though he’s much more alive.

Finally, there’s only one more photo, but it’s shoved further back into the drawer.]

[Big worry.

What's that one hiding in the back of the drawer?]

[It’s that small demon, once more, on the red carpet for some sort of film. He looks incredibly happy, and is wearing a black bow tie. The press surrounds him, taking hundreds of photos, and from the marquee at the back of the the photo, it looks like we’re at the world premiere of Fantasia.

But not everyone in the photo is happy.

There’s a mustachioed individual in the back, hair neatly slicked back, who the cameras also focus on. There are a few girls wearing mouse ear hats that reach out to him for autographs, photos, attention, anything. But he’s not happy. In fact, the camera seems to have captured a rare expression he very seldomly portrayed in public: hatred. Venomous hatred.

You can see it in his eyes, and he’s looking right at that demon.]

....He really was happy once.

[She didn't really feel bad about killing Randy in the heat of the moment but... he did have a life once. Maybe they should've done more to try and talk him through whatever he went through.

...How's that tablet look?]

I guess so. But that gentleman in the back doesn't seem to be a fan.
