ENDGAME GROUP 1: The Other Box (Log 2)
[Off-screen, the groups manage to reunite themselves once more. More notable than anything else is the little black floating box, though if any of you have any information you wish to exchange, now would be an excellent time to do so.]
I know this isn’t exactly on the docket, but I intend on heading in there. You’re welcome to join if you’d like.
(ooc: this is the second and final log for group 1 - if you weren’t here for the previous log, feel free to use this as a jumping-in point!)

[He forces a grin and soldiers ahead.]
He also had a war table with what looked like some kind of map. The various places were labeled, and he had these little figures it looked like set up in strategic locations. There was... Monsieur Serling, Monsieur Lincoln, our friend here- [He gestures to Ghostave] Hades himself, a figure that was melted to be unrecognizable, and Monsieur Walt.
And... I found this as well. It's a letter to Hades from a "Tcherno," thanking him for giving him some kind of chance. And moreover, he talks about making others go through the same thing he did.

Randy got locked up with other folks, too?

Judging by the state of the paper, I don't think Hades thought much of the thanks, but we can't just pretend this doesn't mean anything, either.

[just says this super cheerfully and simply like everyone already knows this]

Poor Randy. Bein' alone's gotta mess up a fella no matter who he is.

[He takes a knee to get down on Wander's level.]
Buddy, you don't have to be a part of it if it comes down to a fight, but you have to accept that there might not be a way for all of us to get out of this alive without somebody ending up...dead. Maybe Randy, maybe Hades, maybe... probably Ford's evil ex.
Sometimes people don't want to be helped, so all we can do is keep them from hurting anyone else.

[How can he get Lefou to understand? Sure, not everyone's had the same experiences, but Wander Just Knows that he can fix this.]
Everyone wants to be helped! [His free arm straightens at his side as he speaks a little louder than he wanted.] Look, I know it seems impossible that the worst cases like Hades and Randy can't ever change, but I know we can fix this without killin' anyone else else. Even your worst enemy's got good in them, you just have to bring it out at the forefront!
[It's just like with Dominator. He didn't know how to approach her, but then he came up with the genius plan of hooking her up with Hater which will lead them to renounce their evil ways and settle down. And now he has Randy's backstory; talking about feelings will be a cinch!]

There was also a library— [God, she wishes she'd had more time!] with a whole lot of books on ethics and Greek myth taken down. The ethics books seemed...mostly useless, though. And there was another book on something else...ah, 'Disney Animation.' I thought it must have to do with that magic pen...

[She wishes she'd thought to bring the book, so she could get a better understanding than the title alone could offer.]

Was there any mention of a Crystal?
no subject
No, I don't think there was. Of course, it's possible I'm interpreting the text wrong, that it refers to something else entirely...I've learned a lot about the modern world, but I fear some interpretations still escape me.

[The pause is a brief realization in which he looks at Belle and the Beast and then files it away to bring up later.]
Or, as he used it, to extend the lifespan of someone who's already living.

Then it is very dangerous indeed for these items to be in the hands of a wrongdoer.

Much as he'd like to avoid Ratigan at the moment, Basil has doubts the larger folk here will notice anything off... ]
Nothing worth carrying off and not mentioning.
[ Just. dead-eyeing. Whatcha got there, cough it up. ]

Ratigan turns his back to the mouse.]
Oddly specific accusation, Basil. Could you imagine me being so secretive about any gems or gold?

[ HE IS ALREADY VERY TIRED, RATIGAN ]

After about a full minute he slowly produces a piece of paper.]
Why...not at all...
I'm most certain that you could say it's not a burden at all.
[Let this bluff work oh dear god.]
