WEEK 3
[Karolina and Mulan are dead. The first, and hopefully the last, deaths of your stay here. Hopefully their deaths won't be in vain. Your third week here starts on a solemn note, and the mood here has taken on a significant downward spiral. If it's any consolation (it isn't), you'll find that you have two new floors to explore...even if one of those floors has about twenty STAY OUT signs nailed to it.
23 guests remain.]
[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
{ooc: Don't forget to turn in your week 2 AC! As we're now officially in full murdergame mode, AC from here on out is extended till Thursday.}

The thought won't leave Wander alone, and to be frank, he wants to go inside to spite everyone. Show them that they aren't the boss of him. No sign can deter Wander.
But. It could be dangerous. People here depend on him. No, he can't go in. But that doesn't make it any less frustrating. What's in the attic? What's in the attic?
You may find Wander sitting in front of the attic door, glaring at the multiple KEEP OUT messages looking frustrated. His hand slides under his hat, where he's scratching the fur atop his head.
You know what? Forget this. He needs to go out and find something else to obsess over, like the Seance Room which is filled with all sorts of amazing things. After looking into the crystal ball (haha his face looks funny) he picks up every dark tome he finds like it's a pretty rock, lies on the floor, and goes through the pages.]
Look at these drawings! Someone put a lotta effort into these books!
[After a while, he's relegated himself into building a tower using all the tarot cards he can find.]
no subject
Oh, dear.]
Ah—you ought to be careful with those. They could be very dangerous.
no subject
I'm bein' careful! [Flips page.] These books are a bit old, but the pages hold up well!

[Ford trails off, seeing exactly what it is that Wander's reading about. Well, that's certainly very informative. He might need to take a look at that one himself later on.]
Just do me a favor and don't read anything aloud, alright? I'd hate to see you accidentally invoke some sort of demon.
no subject
Actually, you studied ghosts and such, right? Did you also learn arcane magic durin' your travels?
no subject
[He squints.]
Why?
no subject
[He sits up with his legs tucked under him and holds up the tome opened to a pair of pages detailing how to brew a love potion.]
no subject
...Love potions? Hmph. A load of bullroar marketed to love-sick fools.
[Nobody tell him about the Love God.]
no subject
[IT'S DISAPPOINTING but at least he'll get a Professional Opinion on this.]
no subject
Well, yes, but if you made it it might make for a nice poultice for sore muscles or bruises, at least.

Attic door
Wander what are you doing up here?
[Her voice is quiet but harsh. Wander if you dare try doing something stupid...]
no subject
Nothin'! Sittin' down and thinkin'! [He jumps up and faces Sylvia with his hands behind his back and looking up bashfully. See how cute he is? He has done nothing wrong.]
no subject
[Look at how convinced she is. She's seen this enough times, buddy.]
no subject
[He is smiling! Be convinced!]
no subject
Wander, there's probably nothing even in there! Probably just a dusty old room filled with bo-
[Wait no no turn back.]
-oooks! Probably the exact same kinds of books we already have.
no subject
[He clutches his chest dramatically. Time to pull out the theatrics, swinging his arms out at every other word and emphasizing every long syllable.]
What if there's a family of spiders locked away, unable to escape and move out to new lands? What about the books that long to be cracked open by the living, tales of old that have never seen the light of day, diaries that explain how to complete all these ghost's final wishes so they can finally move on?! What kind of secrets hide beyond this door, just one twist and pull [Mimes said actions] away?
Sylvia, how can we ignore a treasure trove that's waitin' to be discovered?!
no subject
[Okay think of something Sylvia.]
We... we'll probably just be disturbing them if we mess with the stuff, I'm sure.
no subject
You got a good point. We can't just walk in and invade their privacy. [Ghostave had said there was someone in the attic, likely where the 999 ghosts lived along with the forbidden thing they were never to see--]
But what would be so important that they don't want us to come in? Is it the secret to this mansion? Our stuff? The way out? Ghostave's backstory? [He paces across the hallway. It's another Box Situation.] Or there's a party goin' on in there and we're not invited, or there's boxes of century-old heirlooms, or there could be the way outta here!

[He jumps up and jerks his hand away.] Dusty, isn't it?
no subject
...How 'bout it? Wanna heck the rules?
no subject
Why not? We got all the time here! [Wander is not the punchy guy, so he steps back and gently does the Will Smith pose at the door. After you, Lieutenant.]
no subject
[She jumps up and firmly kicks the center of the door with both feet.]
no subject
[He waves his fists in the air. It's like cheering on Sylvia when she pummels Watchdogs, only this involves less people getting hurt!]
Not here
