[Karolina and Mulan are dead. The first, and hopefully the last, deaths of your stay here. Hopefully their deaths won't be in vain. Your third week here starts on a solemn note, and the mood here has taken on a significant downward spiral. If it's any consolation (it isn't), you'll find that you have two new floors to explore...even if one of those floors has about twenty STAY OUT signs nailed to it.

I'd say I'm good with string instruments, but these? These won't last me not even a day! It'll all break after a while. This mansion sucks.

[Demyx tosses aside the guitar he had in his hands]

[tadaishi]

[Tadashi's going to pick up the discarded guitar and peer at it.]

You sure? It could just need cleaned up like the rest of the mansion.

[He plucks a few strings as he's talking, producing small puffs of dust each time.]

Don't tell me you're going to try to get me to clean stuff like Sophie did. I almost didn't get away from her that day!

[Demyx grins as if that was a joke, but...yeah, he's ready to bolt away if Tadashi suddenly tries to give him a rag, hahaha]

[tadaishi]

I'm not gonna make you do anything, I promise. I was just pointing out that the instruments just look dusty. But, like I said, I don't know much about them.

[Though now he knows how much Demyx hates cleaning.]

Really? Then what do you know, what's your big hobby?

[He leans against the wall to listen what Tadaishi has to say]

I build robots. And surf. But mostly build robots.

[arpeggiositar]

Robots? Wait, you're a scientist?

[His eye widens. That's somewhat interesting, actually!]

So you can make a robot with anything you want? Like if you can make one with stuff from this mansion then maybe we can have the upper hand against the ghosts!

[tadaishi]

Engineer, actually. But scientist isn't too far off.

[Demyx's excitement is great, but...]

Whoa, wait. I can make them with almost anything, but having them work is another story. I'm used to working with computers, and I don't think this place has anything more advanced than a radio.

[Not that a radio wouldn't work. Sort of.]

I could try, if I could get my hands on some better materials.

[Yeah, definitely sounds like it's something Tadaishi can't pull off with ease]

...well, we do have a robot right now...you could try to do some improvements on him.

[tadaishi]

Ohh, right. But WALL-E seems more spient than most other robots. I'd feel guilty if I accidentally permanently deactivated him.

[Would that count as murder?]

Maybe I'll ask him. Do you have any improvement ideas?

Make him spread salt.

[Yeah, that's Demyx's first idea]

I'm not sure how many of Fidds' weird ghost warding ideas work, but at this point we can't worry much about effectiveness, yeah? We need to do something.

[And then maybe Fiddleford can tell other ways to keep ghosts away, all that matters is that ghosts are repelled]

[tadaishi]

That, he can do right now, I think. You just have to show him what you want him to do.

[Good job, Demyx.]

The salt seems to be helping, so far. I put some in my room as well, and nothing's happened so far. I don't know what else you can do against ghosts, though.

[That they can build with stuff in the mansion, that is.]
