[Karolina and Mulan are dead. The first, and hopefully the last, deaths of your stay here. Hopefully their deaths won't be in vain. Your third week here starts on a solemn note, and the mood here has taken on a significant downward spiral. If it's any consolation (it isn't), you'll find that you have two new floors to explore...even if one of those floors has about twenty STAY OUT signs nailed to it.

Ice skating? Only a little, when I was a kid.

My friend wasn't very interested in stuff like that, he'd rather go...hunting. Stuff like that.

[One time he shot a doe in the middle of winter, even though Lefou tried to stop him when he was pretty sure he saw a fawn take off in front of her.]

But are you interested in such a thing?

[She's nothing but patient there. She knows very well what it's like to have self esteem provlems, so... she would never call him out on it.]

[He turns his head away and nervously scratches one of his sideburns (which are getting unwieldy - really he needs to find a razor) with the opposite hand.]

Well, I never really...

[Glancing away from her gives him the opportunity to look down at the polished floor, and then realize what she's going to do (he has, after all, seen her magic in action).]

Can you really make it cold enough to skate? Inside?

I can. Or I can just will it so that the ice never melts. I could create ice rinks in the middle of a summer day and have it last as long as I wished back home.

[She doesn't do it in a flash like orher times, seeing how surprised over just the idea of an indoor ice rink he is. So she slowly drags her foot to the side, the ice mimicking her and slowly spiraling out of the point of contact, crawling towards the edges of the room.]

So enjoy all you wish. I'll make sure it srays there as long as you want it to.

[Even though it's gradual, it still startles him a little bit and he shifts his foot and almost slips.]

Whoa!

[He half pinwheels his arms to keep his balance and half reaches for a steadying hand.]

[He won't have to scramble for a hold, because Elsa reaches out in a flash, grabbing his hands and steadying him before he could topple over.]

Oh-- sorry! I should have given you more warning!

[Even so, she'll laugh just a little...!]

[Once he regains his balance, he laughs too, holding onto her hands like a lifeline. He looks down at the ice spreading beneath their feet, and lifts onto his toes to tap the heels of his shoes against it.]

It's- it's real ice! That's...incredible.

[His reaction rwminds her so much of Anna's, it's almost scary. And it's infectious too; she can't fight jow her grin widens!]

I can even make skates for you, if you want to slide on them and not just your boots.

[Still holding onto her hands, he raises a leg to show her his buckled, heeled riding shoes.]

Can you make skates on these? They're... the only shoes I have.

Of course! It's as easy as making that coat.

[And sure enough, Elsa only jas tp wave her hands, and a pair of ice skate blades materialize on the bottom of his shoes. They're good and sturdy, and won't fall off no matter how much he wiggles his feet.]

Just let me know when you're done, and I'll make them disappear.
