[Karolina and Mulan are dead. The first, and hopefully the last, deaths of your stay here. Hopefully their deaths won't be in vain. Your third week here starts on a solemn note, and the mood here has taken on a significant downward spiral. If it's any consolation (it isn't), you'll find that you have two new floors to explore...even if one of those floors has about twenty STAY OUT signs nailed to it.

[Achievement unlocked: guilt trip the guilt tripper.

He rubs his neck nervously, trying to find the right words.]

Well, it's just... it could be nothing! Probably isn't even what I thought it was. An-and she told me to keep it secret. Nobody's supposed to know about this dang thing!

She promised? [Him?] Dude, this has got to be serious then. If this is connected to it in any way, it should, like, go back to it then. See what I mean?

Sorta. She had me promise this whole-

[He cuts himself off again, grumbling uncomfortably for a moment or two before letting his shoulders just sag.]

Alllriiiiiight. But this stays between us, right? If Karolina was telling the truth, this stuff is... extremely dangerous. Very extremely dangerous. [She didn't give a lot of details, granted, but it seemed dire.]

And this place definitely doesn't need any more of that.

[She's keeping close to the table, close to Jiminy, like this is the most secret thing. Very serious.]

If it's really dangerous, I totally understand. Promise.

[She pinches two fingers together and slides them against her lips, miming the act of locking something and throwing away the key.

She's very pumped to hear this information.]

[At least that symbol stuck throughout the centuries. It almost gets him to smile a bit. Almost.]

Those lips better shut down any potential lockpickers.

[He'll hop down from the table, gesturing to towards the bedrooms.]

Well, follow me then. Away from prying eyes and whatnot.

[And that's the closest Wendy and Jiminy will get to agreeing with one another. Ever.]

Sure. Just gonna check out a cricket's bedroom.

[Is she the right size for this??]

[Eurgh.] You don't have to phrase it like that.

[But he hops to his room and squeezes under the crack.

Wendy will probably have to actually open the door, unless she thinks she can fit that size. Right now, he's trying to drag a giant heavy golden glove out from under his bed.]

[It briefly occurs to her that that's how he manages to get out of his room. And when she finds it to be unlocked she lets herself in, quickly shutting the door again behind her.

....That's a heavy looking glove.]

Dude, what is that?

That- urrrrggghhhh- is an excellent question!

[He manages to pull it out enough to see all of it, and eventually drops it. He has to take a few seconds to breath.]

Its a heavy fella, that's for sure. Popped right out of the slot machine. And Karolina's eyes nearly did too. Er, pop. In her head, not the machine.

[And Wendy walks over and picks it up with... a little effort. It's not like the thing is weightless.]

Oof. Seriously? This thing? It looks like a freaky arm gauntlet or something. [hmm] Karolina was a superhero, so maybe it was a superhero thing.

[Trying not to be resentful of how easy that was.

He's also not sure he's heard the word superhero before.]

It.... could be? She said something about it being powerful enough to conquer planets or something. When it works.

Dude. [She looks down at the golden superweapon in her teenage arms.]

That's... awesome.

[She kind of wants one except not because that would be bad.]

You are not filling me with confidence.

[Sigh.] Besides, it needs some gems and whatnot to get it going. I think Karolina called them... the Special Rocks.

But it is! [Her arms lower a bit.] I mean, it could definitely destroy the universe and all that, probably. That's not the cool part.

[She has tastes, Jiminy. Accept that.]

Special rocks? [she reaches into her pocket, producing the red infinity stone.] So, that's where this little thing comes in?

In terms of having a gold arm thing in my room that can crush me, the destroying the universe part is definitely my least favorite part.

The Special Rocks. [But he nods.] I've given it a good couple looks, that seems like the right size for it...

I was kind of expecting it to be all... glowing with power or something.

Eh. That's probably just how they get ya.

[Speaking of... Let's see how this stone fits in here...

By which, Wendy is just going to poke the various depressions on the gauntlet with her stone until something sticks.]

[Sure enough, it clicks into place.

Jiminy kind of leaps back like it'll explode but it just clicks in.]
