WEEK 3
[Karolina and Mulan are dead. The first, and hopefully the last, deaths of your stay here. Hopefully their deaths won't be in vain. Your third week here starts on a solemn note, and the mood here has taken on a significant downward spiral. If it's any consolation (it isn't), you'll find that you have two new floors to explore...even if one of those floors has about twenty STAY OUT signs nailed to it.
23 guests remain.]
[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
{ooc: Don't forget to turn in your week 2 AC! As we're now officially in full murdergame mode, AC from here on out is extended till Thursday.}

[Demyx looks around]
Try to find drums. That's easy enough. You'll like the drums.

Nice, nice, think these will work?

I can't believe I'm going to have to play a banjo.

C'mon, show a newbie like me how it's done. Maybe we can make something that sorta sounds like music.

[And then Demyx goes into a tune that's definitely not for beginners. Sorry, Mike]

Mike knows negative squat about music (the fuck are notes??) but he can at least follow a beat. After a moment of blank confusion, he starts hitting the drums, dust kicking up at every strike. It's not good, but it's not actually that bad either, with him somehow managing to sound like. . .well, maybe a backup drummer for the back up. He looks like he's having fun though, more than impressed with Demyx's playing.]
How's this, dude? Are we jamming?
no subject
[Not bad, Mike! Demyx seems to actually be enjoying it, at least until the banjo disintegrates in his hands, the pieces falling to the floor. That was some enthusiastic playing. Despite the banjo breaking, he doesn't seem bothered about it]
Wow, I really missed this. I hadn't stayed away from music for so long!
You were doing great, the drums suit you!

A couple more hits, and then the drumset wobbles, suddenly collapsing to the floor in a jumbled noisy heap right after the banjo. Mike jumps back as it does, laughing a bit.]
Aaand there it goes. That really was pretty fun though! But dang, where'd you learn to play? First knives, now music, you're one talented guy!

[Demyx seems much more relaxed than before, that's for sure. He's idly digging around the pile of instruments without looking for anything specific]
I dunno, I have been playing music for so long I forgot when I started. Well, it was mostly the sitar, but the principle is the same for most string instruments.
The point is that I don't remember!

[Mike goes to poke around a bit more too--he finds a. . .harp?? The strings let out a few notes as they immediately snap when plucked.]

[Look at this oboe. Demyx blows into it, a ridiculous amount of dust bursting from inside]
Any ideas?

Why don't we build something? Like a sculpture or some kinda alarm, heck, even a robot--I'd say car, buuut not enough parts here, heh!
no subject
[Do you have experience with robotics, Mike?]
no subject
Dude, I didn't even think of that! Yeah, the little guy could use some company. We just gotta retool this stuff and it'll be good to go. I mean, we've got nothing for an AI, but it'll be fine.

Wheels, a base, and a face. Those are the basics, so go with whatever you think fits for it. [what remains of the drums might make decent wheels, for example.]
