[Karolina and Mulan are dead. The first, and hopefully the last, deaths of your stay here. Hopefully their deaths won't be in vain. Your third week here starts on a solemn note, and the mood here has taken on a significant downward spiral. If it's any consolation (it isn't), you'll find that you have two new floors to explore...even if one of those floors has about twenty STAY OUT signs nailed to it.

[Mike visibly freezes up for a moment at that. Wander and Star? Who the heck let those two up there. They're both sweet as heck, but he figures whatever, whoever, is doing this coudln't care less. Heck, maybe sweetness level makes them even more vulnerable to bad times. He huffs, dragging a hand down his face.]

. . .was Ford good when you left? If they're with Pops, they'll be fine. Maybe he'll punch out whatever did this. [a flatline bitter attempt at a joke.]

[Welp, a street rat like Mike can't judge much. He takes hold of the hand and tries to haul him up in one go--he's pretty strong for a seemingly scrawny kid. ]
