WEEK 5
[It's been a month now, and even more people keep dying. Even more, one of the beloved (if.... very weird) guests killed two people just because it was "funny", and while there seems to be other people they don't seem too interested in helping out or even being seen.
This week a new land opens to the public which, depending on the last trial might be a blessing or a curse.]

Why are they called cartoons if none of them are about cars?

[Yeah, even if she's investigating the entire area, this is literally the only place in Weedland that actually has anything to hold her interest.]
...maybe because they move like cars? I don't know.

investigation?
Investigate the weed dispensary, that's what he should do. And so, Wonka will be found at the new land, examining the paraphernalia, the theater, and the snacks. He's not really looking for anything in particular- he's really just trying to keep himself occupied now that he doesn't have someone frequently available to bounce jokes off of.
After a while, he settles down in the theater, curiously watching whatever's on. The curiosity only grows whenever it changes from cartoons to Alfred Hitchcock.]
What does Hitchcock have to do with this place, anyway?

Currently he's trying and failing how to smoke it. This is so sad, maybe help him?
Afterwards he's at the munchie shop, looking for anything that's remotely kind of recognizable. And then he remembers this is probably the last place to be looking for something 'healthy'. Chips and sodas sound good enough- If there's anyone nearby, he'll ask for your opinion on something trivial.]
Which of these go well together? Cheetos and sprite? Salt and vinegar with pepsi?
[He's...making small talk, and might ask you about escape plans or so instead. Or how you're holding up. Something like that.
Finally he's at the theatre, maybe a little bit high, snacking, and being reminded of a simpler moment the last time he was at a theatre. Multiversal travel is some shady ground with him, but he's also feeling a bit off so it's fine. He's trying and failing to pay attention to the cartoons and films.]

you'd think there would be. so many people had died; she'd fallen behind even before Dan did what he did. you won't see her in the art room, or the kitchen, or the new areas. hell, you won't even see her come out of her room; she'd gone to the casino very, very early in the morning.
but, the door is open, at least slightly, though the lights are off. and there's an odd scent to the smoke that sometimes drifts out. a bit like burnt milk.]

TUESDAY
MOTIVE: Sock It To ‘Em!
[If your character wears socks at all, they’ll notice that one of them is now missing.
See that? I messed with your pairs of socks! If you ever wanna see the other half of your pair again, you’ve gotta kill somebody! Otherwise you’ll just have one sock forever!

[So at some point everyone will find the following note slipped under their door. Or hand delivered to Weedland as necessary, Gandhi.]
Coraline Jones Memorial Potluck!
Bring something to share to the lobby to remember Coraline and not eat food that's probably evil somehow even if it's not actually poisoned.
Mr. Swackhammer and Mr. King Dice are specifically not invited.
[Anyone actually showing up will find- well, Penny's definitely made an attempt. There's another veggie tray that might be recognizable as her personal addition, but also a lot of stuff raided from the munchies shop. There is, however, a distinct lack of hot dogs and anything hot dog like in appearance.]
[There's also a sheet of paper tacked up next to Coraline's bio, with the title "Share Your Good Memories Here!" at the top. A selection of pens and markers has been provided.]

Later one she finds oh hey, there's in an actual theater. She doesn't need glasses for this one! For a second she tries communicating with it in the hopes it's a screen. But she just gets engrossed in trying to draw the strange being called Alfred Hitchcock. He's just so peculiarly round. It's something, really anything to distract her from what happened Monday.]

Today, she sticks to Public School Land, a strange locket hanging around her neck. It's shaped like a heart and sparkles, every-so-often. She noses at lockers, musing to herself. ]
I wonder if all humans... Gosh, Megan must go to a place like this.
[ ...Or later, when she exits Public School The Ride, because that was something Fizzy needed, surely. Her eyes look crossed and she seems confused. ]
What... He was... I didn't... Huh?
