FINAL WEEK

[Well that was certainly eventful. Even though Kubo managed to kill the host of the round, you still feel no less trapped in this park, especially with King Dice stepping in as the ruler.

The park doesn't seem to change much despite this, however. The only notable thing is that King Dice seems to be missing from the casino, and from the park in general. But don't fret anyone, if you have some final coins you need to exchange, There is a fancy new slot machine that randomly spits out a prize just for you! It seems like none of the consolation prizes are in it either.

Still, it's a cold comfort when you're still horribly trapped here, but hey! There's only one guy left you need to defeat to end this game.]

[If there's a party of any kind after all that on Friday, Penny's not there. She has one mission after the trial - cleaning out the weed dispensary of anything remotely psychoactive. Gathering as much as she can into a makeshift bundle of bedsheet, she drags it all towards the Tunnel of Love and dumps it into the water.]

[After that? Penny stays in her room the rest of Friday and Saturday, unless someone comes to find her.]

[At some point on Saturday there's a knock on her door. Actually, it's more like someone slumps against it.]

[Well that's probably something she should investigate.]

[But it still takes a minute for her to open the door and look out.]

Hello?

[No one's like dying and bleeding out in the hallway right, cause that would be just about perfect at this point.]

[She looks down at the sheet. It's pretty full, but the weight isn't exactly an issue.]

[There's an almost deceptively soft knocking at the door.]

[It's not really a question. He knows, he's an excellent tracker.]

[It takes a second, but the door opens.]

[Soooo. Getting the shit beaten out of him by smoke kind of hurt. Wonka's also depressed about losing the necklace- even though it was running out of Audrey-blood, he could've used it with someone else's blood. Maybe bleed that damned mouse dry and try to sneak out of King Dice's way like that.

Make no mistake- getting actual consequences for his actions (IE getting swept up into an execution for wearing a cursed artifact) has done absolutely nothing to make him reflect on his actions to try to be a better person. If anything, he's more determined. Now he has a motivation beyond getting home and trying to salvage his factory and reputation.

He wants King Dice dead.

You'll find a pile of junk just sitting around outside the hotel. No one's gonna stop you if you want to take some of it. If you can find something useful in this pile of stuff, good for you.

Wonka himself? You can find him at his usual haunts- that is to say, all the stores that sell candy. So if you want to punch him, that's probably the place to go.

But later Saturday afternoon, he's going to the Weed Dispensary. And he's checking out that back room again.]

[After the trial, a certain pothead kid can be seen hanging around the hotel. He seems pretty avoidant of people still, but he's not running off anymore if anyone spots him.

He seems to be thinking about something while he's here, if anyone dares approach him.]

[Sometime Monday morning, there is an ear-splitting shriek from the casino. Anyone coming to investigate will find Penny.]

[Holding an armful of cheerful looking dog.]

Oh my gosh you are just the cutest thing I've ever seen, did King Dice really have you locked up in that awful machine? Well don't you worry, he is never ever going to touch you ever again and if he does I'm punching his stupid cubed head right off-

[Later, she's in the kitchen searching through the cupboards as Zwei sits and watches her expectantly, making an occasional 'borf' sound, soft but insistent.]

...Do you know what dogs eat besides hotdogs? You can't just feed them nothing but hotdog, right?

[Another day where everyone is miraculously not dead yet, and still no sign of King Dice in his precious casino. Obviously, he's off preparing something, but he's left his lair unguarded! Perfect time to investigate.

Which means that's where Dinobot is, and he's got some loot too. Only one thing really seems to catch his eye though.]

[He's been here a while, just listening to the little toy, like it would hold some clue to their escape. Fat lot of help it's been already.]

[The casino had a dog. Technically two dogs? But at least one dog in the slot machine. Maybe it'll also have dog food?]

[So that's how and why Penny walks into the casino to find robot-sempai solemnly regarding a talking plush toy.]
