[Tadashi, Sophie, and Princess Anna are dead. By now, maybe you're realizing that this plays is way more dangerous than you have ever feared, but don't worry, maybe some hope will come along the way.

For example, if anyone tries to open the Conservatory Door leading outside starting this week, they'll find that they finally have access to the graveyard and outside. You are now freely able to leave the mansion whenever you want.

Maybe you can all finally leave this place...?

[He slides his fingers on one of the wires. It's surprisingly free of dust considering how long it's been separated from him.]

I write most of my songs, actually. After a couple of years, I can't keep on playin' the same tune over and over again. [He plucks out a series of chords, one string at a time.] Some change is good.

[chainbroke]

Amazing...

[ She wonders just how many songs he's written. ]

You're so talented. Not only being able to write songs, but play them. Just how long have you played?

Almost all my life, pretty much. [A one-armed shrug. His strapless banjo remains where it is due to cartoon magic.]

Wanna hear another? Do a cover of one of the foyer songs?

[chainbroke]

[ She's so happy he wants to play for her. ]

I'd love that, if you wouldn't mind playing more for me.

[He can rest his fingers as they walk to the bios. His mind is racing too quickly to come up with something new on the spot, but a cover would do nice. A mix of originality and an existing tune.]

Take your pick! [He turns to face Namine, bouncing on his heels.]

[chainbroke]

[ She thinks for a moment, looking over all the bios, before stopping at Elsa's. ]

This one?

[Wander walks over to push the button and listens. He looks at his banjo, figuring out the chords and notes as the song plays for the first time. Then once more, making sure he got it right. A third time, he fingers the melody as the voice that sounds so much repeats the lyrics. Hopefully this won't get stuck in Namine's head.]

[chainbroke]

[ It's too late. She's already humming along quietly by the time he plays, but she doesn't mind! It's a nice song.

Another round of applause, when he's done. ]

That was lovely, Wander.

Oh no no no, I haven't even started yet! You've gotta wait for the main event.

[He steps back, checks the chord and begins the long-waited for banjo cover of 2013's greatest hit. The song begins with arpeggios, mimicking the quiet instrumentation. And then he sings.]

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
and it looks like I'm the queen.

[He nods at Namine, inviting her to join in.]

[chainbroke]

Oh!

[ Aw, now she feels a little embarrassed, and she blushes a bit.

And then he nods, and Naminé's eyes widen. She then points to herself, as if asking, Me? ]

[Nods. He continues on with the song.]

The wind is howlin' like this stormin' wind inside.
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried.

[The arpeggios are replaced by chords as he transitions to the next part.]

[chainbroke]

[ She looks a little unsure, but she joins in, her voice soft. She's definitely not a bad singer, though. ]

Conceal, don't feel,

Well, now they know...

[A STRONG CHORD.]

Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore!

[Wander calm down this isn't the loud part yet.]

[chainbroke]

[ GO WANDER ]

I don't care what they're going to say

The cold never bothered me, anyway.

[ She's definitely getting into it now! ]

[If Namine sings it loud enough, she can learn to be confident as well!]

It's funny how some distance makes everythin' seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all!

[He doesn't sing the next several lines. It's up to Namine now.]

[chainbroke]

[ She'll get there! Probably. ]

It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through!

[ When Wander doesn't chime in, she gives him a look, but she doesn't stop singing. She just keeps going. ]

No right, no wrong, no rules for me,

[He can jump in again.]

[strumming intensifies]

[chainbroke]

[ She'll take over the next few lines again. ]

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast,
I'm never going back! The past is in the past!

[folkscallmewander]

[You can do this, dude!]

[Rapid strumming. Here's the big piece, and he's going to sing it as loud as he can.]

[chainbroke]

[ Let's end it on a strong note...!! ]

Here I stand

The cold never bothered me anyway!

[He finishes up the song with a loud series of chords, fitting for a powerful finale about a woman learning to be confident in herself and not listen to the haters.

...And then adds a cute little diddy.]

That was amazin'! You totally dominated that song, Nams!

[chainbroke]

[ First Nene, then Nams... she's collecting all kinds of nicknames.

She's happy. ]

Did I?

[ She pushes a bit of hair behind her ear. ]

It's the first time I've ever sung anything.

[folkscallmewander]

[It's a better nickname than Nom Nom.]

Like, at the end, it was like you were feelin' it, y'know? When you get into the spirit of the music, you become one with the music!

[chainbroke]

[ She nods, smiling. Somehow, despite everything terrible that's happened...

This is really what it's like to have friends. ]

I think I understand why you love music so much now.

Everyone should sing once in a while. You need to try it out more often.
