[Tadashi, Sophie, and Princess Anna are dead. By now, maybe you're realizing that this plays is way more dangerous than you have ever feared, but don't worry, maybe some hope will come along the way.

For example, if anyone tries to open the Conservatory Door leading outside starting this week, they'll find that they finally have access to the graveyard and outside. You are now freely able to leave the mansion whenever you want.

Maybe you can all finally leave this place...?

[Wander chuckles.] I thought it's be awful if you forgot this. It's for work or somethin'?

[Normal people have jobs. People that work for corporations need nametags. What if Mike was unable to return to work because he lost part of his uniform?]

[bud........Mike huffs a little, blowing at his bangs.]

Yeah, something like that. But it's for my old job, sooo. I don't exactly need it any more.

Iiii wouldn't stop you, no. [. . .squint.] Dude, did you seriously shine it up?

Yeah. It was dirty, so I cleaned it for you.

[It was only the nice thing to do.]

[gosh dangit. He lets out a sigh.]

Well now I'd feel bad just tossing it. Maybe I can wait til it collects some dust.

Oh, don't concern yourself about it! I can give it to Honey Nut as a toy.

[If Mike feels bad, Wander will feel bad for coming in the first place.]

So you found him, huh? That's good. Yeah, why don't you. 'Least then it'll actually be good for something.

[Said a bit bitterly, but he quickly catches himself, noticing Wander's awkwardness.]

And hey, thanks for bringing it to me. No way you coulda known I tossed it on purpose.

Actually, Maui picked him up. [He stole him.] We're switchin' days where we take care of him, and today he's in my room like nothin' ever happened.

[Is Honey Nut even aware that he's under joint custody? Do chickens understand that concept?]

I was only makin' sure it wasn't on purpose. Would be pretty bad if you needed it and no one helped find it.

Big guy? That's uh. Surprising. He really is a softie deep down. Heh, it's like the little birdie has two pops now.

[a broken home but at least they both love him! In...their own ways sort of. Mike shrugs.]

Yeah, I get it. Appreciate it, dude, for real.

I always he had a soft center, deep down in that giant chest of his. And now Honey Nut has more parents that will love and cherish him like a pet, not a food.

[He can't ever imagine eating something that used to be alive. Animals are so cute!]

It's like a tough, hard chocolate shell exterior! But cool, I think that's for the best--for everyone's sake. [lord help the person who tries to eat that screwed up chicken.]

[And if Honey Nut mysteriously vanishes one day, we all know who to blame.]

Why wouldn't it? Helps with escapin' if we all get along. And for some folks, trust me on this, they take a lotta work to show that side of themselves.

Takes a bit to melt the ice away, huh? I get that--can't blame folks for putting up their guards a bit here. But I think you're right, most folks are coming around. Exposure will do that to you.

Maui's not as bad as some bad guys I met, he just has a teensy little attitude problem. [No really?] Sure, it's hard in this place, but I'll find a way to crack that inky exterior and bring him out to make friends.

He's a tough guy, lotsa tough guys don't wanna show their soft gooey center at first. He'll get to know how great it is to relax once in a while! [By annoying him constantly, that is the Wander Way.]

Yeah, I'm sure he's just a big toasted marshmallow on the inside. And hey, if anyone can show him how to let loose and have fun, it's you.

[He giggles. On a scale of Something the So-And-So to Major Threat, Maui is somewhere lower than a Sylvia. It will take some time to reach to him, but nothing that another week or two won't do.

If neither of them die, that is.]

Aw, thanks, man. [he may ticking maui off this very moment in another thread.] But you're a natural at this--positive, full of ideas. The world could use more folks like you, that's for sure.
