WEEK 4

[Tadashi, Sophie, and Princess Anna are dead. By now, maybe you're realizing that this plays is way more dangerous than you have ever feared, but don't worry, maybe some hope will come along the way.

For example, if anyone tries to open the Conservatory Door leading outside starting this week, they'll find that they finally have access to the graveyard and outside. You are now freely able to leave the mansion whenever you want.

Maybe you can all finally leave this place...?

20 guests remain.]

{Don't forget to fill out your Week 3 Activity Check!}

[... It's funny. Everyone has been so casual here that it's a little surprising, hearing her title like that after these past few weeks.

She remains kneeling in front of the grave she was tending, but she at least brushes the dirt off her hands and looks up at Julia.]

Please, just Elsa is fine. I don't demand any sprt of formality if you don't want to bother with such things.

Oh. Um, here.

[She holds out the papers. It's sheet music, but instead of a straight transcription like most of what Julia's been leaving at the memorial, this one is a mash-up of Anna and Elsa's songs. Then, belatedly realizing Elsa might not know what it is:]

I mixed your song with Anna's, and I was gonna to just leave it at the memorial, but I thought. I thought you might want it instead?

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-04 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
[... Oh. Oh. Well, Elsa was sure that after this past week, she would never be able to cry again, after all the crying she did after Anna's wake. But this... a memorial for her sister, and one last thing tying them together... yeah. She can feel her eyes stinging as she takes the sheet music.]

This... this is amazing...

[Piano was one of the things she took up to pass the time in her isolation, so she knows how to play. But she's a little rusty, and with her current state, she probably won't be very good. But maybe...]

Could you... if it's not too much to ask, could you play it when we return inside?
amadeusrockette: (with a bottle of wine in one hand)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-04 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Um, the piano is angry with me but . . . I might manage on the organ?

[Is the organ also alive?? She's not sure, but at least it can't chase her.]
defyingfrigidity: (I hope you're happy in the end)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-04 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Ah, right... that poor thing. It was odd to think of a piano like that, but it WAS sentient, and a sentient thing really shouldn't have to go through what thst piano did.]

Oh, um... only if you're comfortable with playing on something different like that.
amadeusrockette: to ever set foot on this earth (she was the first punk)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-04 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
It might sound a little strange, but I think I can manage. [Her dad did say all good organ playing was founded on piano. Hopefully he was right.] If not, I'll play it for you when I befriend the piano.

[Because she's gonna. She's gonna play that piano if it's the last thing she does.]

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-04 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Is there really that much of a difference between playing an organ and a piano?

[The church in Arendelle had always been on the small side, so they didn't really have the room for such a grand instrument. Thus, she's never really seen one up close or been able to play one.]

... Perhaps it's like a skittish animal. You have to let it grow used to your presence before it can trust you.
amadeusrockette: (what the next day would bring)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-07 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
The piano is a percussion instrument and the organ is a winds instrument so it's not as easy as going from piano to keyboard. The keys behave differently, to a certain extent, and the pedals are a little wrong, but it's not the worst instrument switch to make.

[She tried saxaphone once. That was a disaster.]

I think you're probably right about the piano, though. I'll have to spend more time with it.
defyingfrigidity: (pic#7136561)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-08 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
... Huh. I never knew that. I just assumed since they both had keys, they would be pretty similar...

[You learn new things every day!]

Maybe if you can clean it up a bit, it'll warm up to you. I imagine it would be in a much better mood without layers of dust and grime coating it.
amadeusrockette: (what the next day would bring)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-08 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
There's no reason for most people to know, I just happen to study music. [She says this nonchalantly, like she's grown used to people not knowing what she's talking about when she mentions music.] Anyway, um. What were you doing before I interrupted you?

[Smooth, Julia. Real smooth.]
defyingfrigidity: (pic#7669711)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-09 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[Elsa is a bundle of awkward on good days so she won't judge Julia for being awkward too!]

Oh, um... [She motions to the gravestone in front of her.]

I thought... I thought the spirits trapped here with us would appreciate it if their graves were cleaned up a bit.
amadeusrockette: to ever set foot on this earth (she was the first punk)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-09 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! [Julia actually takes a look at their surroundings at that. Yikes. This is a graveyard? No wonder the ghosts are angry.] That's a good idea - I was telling Mike if we could do something nice for the ghosts, they might be happier with us.

[Dang, Elsa must be such a good queen. She's always thinking about other people!!!]
defyingfrigidity: (pic#7312187)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-09 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[Because it's impossible for her to think of herself thanks to years of shredding her own self-esteem and thinking that she just can't do anything right because of her inability to control her magic! So... yeah, when she's not focusing on herself, it gives her more time to focus on other people.]

I thought the same thing. And even if they continue to be distant... I think most of them still deserve to have this, at the very least. [She says most of them because there's no way she'll ever touch the grave of the woman who killed Anna.] I can't imagine the graves of our friends becoming overgrown like this, so... I have to do this.
amadeusrockette: (i just say whatever comes to mind)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-11 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
I think most people deserve a nice grave.

[There are people who don't, but most of the ghosts haven't done anything to harm them and she's not about to damn them all for one ghost's actions.]

Our . . . they're not buried here though, are they?
defyingfrigidity: (pic#7136569)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-11 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
[There's a moment of hesitation, because well... she tries to avoid thinking about their buried friends. Especially now, since Ezra told her that their spirits aren't here. Does that mean their bodies aren't too? God, she doesn't even want to think about what might happen to them if that's the case...]

Not among these destroyed graves, no. I understand that some people don't think clearly when they're consumed with anger, but... if any of these graves belong to our friends, I don't think they'd be ruined.

[After all, she'd snapped out of her panic the moment she realized she'd hurt Anna, way back in the fallout of her coronation. If one of these had been their friends... Star and the others would have done their best to fix the stone right away, she'd think.]
amadeusrockette: (i've always been the kind of girl)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-11 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Do we - [. . . Nah. She doesn't even want to know actually what happens to the corpses.] Do you want help, then?
defyingfrigidity: (pic#7312187)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-11 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
... I'd like it if we can uncover their names, at least.

[Like she and Lefou had been trying to do last week.]

I don't think the graves need to be in perfect condition, but if we can at least try and reveal the names of who these people were... I think that would help.
amadeusrockette: (whatever's broke i can make it unbroken)

[personal profile] amadeusrockette 2017-07-13 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I think we'd need specialized tools for some of these. [Some of them are real old and broken down.] It's always the thought that counts, though. Right?
defyingfrigidity: (pic#7136561)

[personal profile] defyingfrigidity 2017-07-14 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
I hope it counts...

[Hmm...]

Are there any buckets in any of the rooms? Or maybe we can find a large bowl in the kitchen... something to bring hot water and soap out here. That might not help with some of these, but if we scrub at a few of them, we might be able to reveal their names.
