[Tadashi, Sophie, and Princess Anna are dead. By now, maybe you're realizing that this plays is way more dangerous than you have ever feared, but don't worry, maybe some hope will come along the way.

For example, if anyone tries to open the Conservatory Door leading outside starting this week, they'll find that they finally have access to the graveyard and outside. You are now freely able to leave the mansion whenever you want.

[Ford laughs uproariously at that.]

Darn, I was hopin' I'd get it right! Let's see...

[Who else is a grump and could use a bit of an endorsement?]

Fiddles! You came to ask for another round of duelin' banjos? I thought you did really well!

[Fiddles. That still tickles him.]

Unfortunately, I am not nearly as skilled at the banjo as our dear friend Doctor McGucket. Come now, Wander, I know you're smarter than that.

Heavens! That's two outta three...Hm, now who else can be a close friend of his? What about...

Ford!

[He tries to slip out of his hands, which only manages to uncover part of an eye. Oh well. Better that he doesn't move around too much and wrinkle his only dress]

[Ford loosens his hands to allow Wander to wiggle out of his grasp, and grins down at him.]

I knew you'd get it eventually.

[Wander puts on a dumb grin and holds his hands out. Tadah! It doesn't fit with his glitter princess aesthetic.]

How're you enjoyin' the party, my old buddy?

Very much. I've got a bottle in my pocket and I'm ready to dance, my friend.

[Wander. Waaaander. You're so good. A good little friend. Look at you.]

[He smells the alcohol on his breath now that he's face-to-face with Ford.]

Looks like you needed a drink to get you into party mode, huh? Whaaaat are you hidin', Dr. Ford?

Just a little nip. [He tugs at the lapel of his overcoat, which sloshes ominously.] I think we could all use a little nip, truth be told. Except—except the children, of course.

[Even Ford knows that's inappropriate.]

[For a few seconds, Wander's eyes point at the flash. Man, it would be nice to have an expensive drink after three weeks of being locked up. It might help him de-stress for the night. In case distracting himself with the party isn't enough. But that would mean taking booze away from another adult that needs it more. Wander has it under control. He has Sylvia, he has his banjo, he has Honey Nut every other day. He can manage without the help.

But he focuses on Ford.]

You sound like it's against the law to bring drinks to a ball.

I just felt it better to be discreet. Wouldn't want people getting the wrong impression, after all!

[Because 360 days out of the year, Ford is sober and grumpy and too focused on work to worry about things like parties.]

[folkscallmewander]

[Well that means Wander has to draw out 5 Day Ford so everyone can see what an amiable guy he is on the inside.]

What kinda impression do you mean? That you're fun at parties? Everyone likes those folks!

[Ford snorts. No, that's not right???? Ridiculous!]

No, I just don't want people thinking I'm an alcoholic.

I dunno, I think most folks tend to get drunk when they haven't had booze in a while, 'specially not at a party like this.

[Spreads his arms wide and gestures are the entire room.]

But that that you're properly sociable, it's high time you go out there and have! [fist up!] Some! [other fist up!] Fun!

[Waves around invisible pom poms! Go Ford, be lets of an uptight grandpa!]

[Wander, you're adorable. And you're great at pep talks. Ford grins, and does a right-hook across his body.]
