[Tadashi, Sophie, and Princess Anna are dead. By now, maybe you're realizing that this plays is way more dangerous than you have ever feared, but don't worry, maybe some hope will come along the way.

For example, if anyone tries to open the Conservatory Door leading outside starting this week, they'll find that they finally have access to the graveyard and outside. You are now freely able to leave the mansion whenever you want.

Maybe you can all finally leave this place...?

[Maui had to hope it wouldn't be because of his death as well. It was natural for them to die in the course of doing something awesome and heroic, something the residents of the mansion desperately needed. Maybe that wouldn't have been so bad.

But being taken out by someone else? Being unable to protect his newfound companions? That thought didn't sit so well within his mind.]

What about all of them together? Happy. As friends. Maybe that's what they are, wherever they wound up.

Oh, that's a wonderful idea.

[ She begins sketching, every so often looking up at their pictures to get it just right. ]

I hope... wherever they are, they are together. Back where I come from, there are beings who don't have a chance of an afterlife. Here, though... it's different, I think.

Yeah I'm... I'm good at those.

[The words were ones he would normally use, but they didn't seem to carry the heavy dose of narcissism that they should have. Rather, it came out soft, afraid that he might somehow disturb Namine's important work.]

I... don't know much about the afterlife. It's something I'm not ever supposed to know. But back home, the souls of the departed are never really gone. Sometimes they even appear when you most need them.

[ That gets her to stop sketching for a good few moments. ]

When... you most need them? Like when?

[ It seems too incredible. That someone who's gone can just... appear, when it's most necessary. And how...? As a spirit, or...? ]

Moments when you need encouragement, I guess. When you're facing down a difficult trial and need someone to tell you you can do it.

I never... had anyone like that, really, so I've never seen it first hand. Sorry I can't be more specific.

It's okay. I was just curious, more than anything.

[ She gives him a small, reassuring smile. ]

I wonder if anything like that will happen here.

Maybe. The ghosts here are talkative sometimes, I think. We can hope though, right?
