WEEK 8
[Two months. Two months of being trapped in this mansion. Two months of heartbreak and despair. Two months of wondering if you are all going to die here.
You finally have a real ray of hope thanks to Mr. Walt, but even he claims that it will be a hard journey ahead. You all have to be strong, physically, emotionally, any kind of strength will work against what you're up against. Maybe take the next few days to rest before the long journey, or prepare for the dangers that await, the choice is yours, but...
Will you be able to escape?
8 guests remain]
[ SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY ]
{OOC: Don't forget to read and respond to our endgame details/check in!}

I'm here. And it's alright... to not be okay.

I miss him so much...
no subject
I know... I'm so, so sorry...

He holds her like he's afraid he's going to lose her too, one hand cradling the back of her head.]

Somehow, along the way, Naminé had stopped merely wanting to survive, and started wanting to live. Not just for herself, but for Ford. For Mike and Elsa, Wendy and Anna, Ford and LeFou and Julia. And for all of their friends and people they've loved, deeply and completely.
It gives her the strength to be there for him, now. Even if it's just in the way she holds him and lets him hold onto her, the way she hums the song from her profile, slow and quiet, like a lullaby. ]

You're a good girl, Nene. I'm so proud of you...
[I know he was too.
He pulls back enough to cup her face in his hands, then leans in to press their foreheads together, closing his eyes. Maui had taught him the gesture; it was so small, but it felt so important.]
...I never told you that we talked about that fruit you offered us.

[ The small shows of affection touch her deeply. It's incredible, what something so seemingly inconsequential can do--and Naminé never thought she'd be able to receive such an important gift.
She pulls away slightly, if only to kiss his cheek. ]
You did? I... I'm sorry, that I never got a chance to give it to you.

It's- it's alright. We...decided that we'd rather wait, anyway. Until we were free from here- [His voice is hoarse and it catches a little, but the memory is a happy one.] And we could go to the Destiny Islands with you and pick it ourselves.

[ She nods. She understands--Ford and Fiddleford, they had agreed to share it, but that doesn't make either decision wrong. Rather, she's just glad they were happy with their choice.
She can't wait to take LeFou and Maui to the Islands. It's the type of place that suits Maui, and it's the type of quiet, beautiful place LeFou would love. They can swim in the ocean, walk around the small island where families have made their homes. ]
Then we absolutely must get them back. There's a paopu fruit with your names on it, waiting to be shared.
[ Every destined pair has a paopu made just for them, after all. That's what she believes. ]
no subject
We'll find them. With Maui down there now, I bet they'll meet us halfway.
[Jesus Christ this is
so much easier
than it would have been before they found out that there was actually a chance to save them.]
no subject
But she pushes that down and focuses instead on how Maui had been a comfort. It's better to think about good things. ]
Mm, I'm sure he's giving Hades a piece of his mind. [ She pauses and thinks. ] Or a faceful of his fist.
no subject
Probably the latter. Hades won't even know what hit him.

"Maui, Shapeshifter, Demigod of the Wind and Sea, Hero to All" is a mouthful for a pre-beatdown.
no subject
[ But honestly, Maui could take him easily. Hades is powerful, but Maui is stubborn and powerful, which is a combination even Hades couldn't overpower. ]
Hades is in for an even harder time, with Maui there.
[ She can imagine Star annoying him, too. ]
no subject
[He just has to keep telling himself that he'll see him again soon. That's all, just hold onto that thought with all his might.]
I don't think he's prepared for us to break in there to get them out, either.
no subject
Mm, I agree. I don't think he knows exactly who all he's dealing with. With how determined and strong everyone is, it shouldn't be very difficult.
Right?
no subject
He has so much uncertainty. He doesn't like that their fates are in the hands of a God that he's seen face to face, even though Walt had oozed paternal compassion, and it reminded him of the gentle but resolute Pere Robert.
But the way she asks him "Right?" is so unsure, and he can't put his doubts on her. He's her Papa.]
Right. They're fighting their way to us right now. We just have to get out of here so we can fight our way to them.
