[You wake up in a plush bed, well rested but very confused. As you become more conscious, one thing becomes abundantly clear: this is not your room, nor does this look like any bedroom you’ve ever been in before. It’s relatively clean room, but immediately something feels… off about all of this.

When you start exploring, a thing you’ll soon notice is that on the bedside table, there is a room key sitting ontop of a neatly typed note.]

Dear hotel guests,

We cordially invite you to come to the downstairs library at noon for an important meeting regarding your stay in the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Before then, we invite you to make full use of the amenities this hotel has provided for you.

On behalf of the hotel staff, we dearly hope you enjoy your stay in this marvelous hotel.

[But, as you leave the comfort of your new bedroom, any hope that you somehow booked a hotel room the previous night and just forgot is immediately dashed. It looks like this hotel hasn’t been cleaned in decades, and despite the mention of hotel staff in your note, there doesn’t appear to be anyone working here.

Not to say that you’re alone, however. As you explore the hotel, you’ll soon find that there are 23 others in the exact same situation as you: confused and with no memory of how they got here. And to make matters worse, if the bios you stumble upon in the dining area is anything to go by, this clearly isn't just a freak accident.

Get comfy, because you are all in for a wild ride.]

[ Well that's cathartic, to be sure! It may not be as pleasing as taking over an entire kingdom, but Ursula knows how to take pleasure in the petty things.

If they were underwater, this would be a much more perilous situation for Chip. As it stands, though, Ursula has to bodily drag her considerable weight after him and that will take some time.

She tuts, mockingly. ]

So you like to bite, hm? Well perhaps it's time I took my turn!

[ She chuckles, deep and mean. Someone save Chip before those questing tentacles can get a chance to seize. ]

[ stitch is around exploring the hotel when he hears chip. he turns and-- ]

[ what is that ugly fish doing chasing that poor chipmunk?? stitch runs over and tries to pick up ursula to get her to stop. no picking on the small ones!! ]

[ Ursula loses her murderous ( and hungry ) train of thought when she feels herself hoisted free of the floor. She lets out a cry of surprise, then snarls. ]

How dare you??!

[ While Stitch succeeded in lifting her, he's also put himself in the precarious position of being in her considerable arm span. Her tentacles move to wrap around him defensively, trying to yank him out from under her and possibly fling him down the hall. ]

[Chip has never seen one of those kinds of animals before. But who cares? Whatever, whoever it is, it just saved him. And seems to be...incredibly strong.

But what kind of ranger would he be if he just left them to this?]

Be careful! She's dangerous!

[ he did not expect for her to grab him from underneath so she successfully yanks him from underneath her and down the hall. once he lands it only takes him a second to rub his head and then get back on his feet and growls at ursula. ]

[ he doesn't have anything to throw so he'll keep his distance and watch her next move. he does, however, take a moment to look over in chip's direction ]

Don't worry. I got this.

[ he'll protect you from this monster!! ]

[ A hero - how perfectly annoying. Yet his demonstrated strength has been enough to make Ursula reconsider a single-minded, rage-filled pursuit. She sizes him up while she gathers herself, tentacles curling at their ends while she lifts a finger to tick side to side. ]

Dangerous only to the ones who have wronged me! Step aside, Blue, my quarrel is not with you!

[WHAT A GOOD STITCH. Chip uncertainly looks from him to Ursula and back. Just gonna go ahead and - hide behind Stitch here.]

Listen, lady, I don't know what your problem is, but you're the one who grabbed me!

[ohanas]

[ stitch looks at ursula. then at chip. then at ursula again. ]

Toobaga. Pick on someone your own size.

[anasty]

[ She ignores Stitch for now, making her case over his head. ]

Would you have preferred that I simply walk over you?

[ Oh yes, such a Good Samaritan right here. Chip, you are so awful and rude! ]

[ She glowers at Stitch. ]

Would you ask a possible shard of glass under your foot if you can pick it up? It was perfectly reasonable for me to pick up what I couldn't see instead of kicking or stepping on it! I never tried to hurt the little idiot!

Why don't we just...start over then. [Chip takes a deep breath, looks at Stitch, and then...steps out.] We clearly got off on the wrong foot. Or...tentacle?

[ stitch glowers a bit back at ursula for a moment before deciding to agree that yes. Maybe they ought to start over. Starting over can be good!

Stitch takes a moment to clear his throat before he speaks. ]

My name is Stitch. It is very nice to meet you Chip.

[anasty]

[ Ursula debates her options - make peace with the little furry ones or get into a fight with the blue one. Her ego says she would come out on top and slake some of her anger in the process... but her ability to reason says she should save her energy for the one that really mattered: her captor. She knows she's out of her element here, not just for being on land but because she senses her powers are off as well.

And I'll confess, I'm not at my best. Waking up in this dry and dreary place has been absolutely awful for my nerves.

[ She sighs heavily, her whole body drooping a bit with the breath. She strokes her own face and rubs her temple. ]

I assume the both of you are in similar straits?
