Week 1

[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?

But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.

If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.

Either way, we really do hope you enjoy your stay in this hotel.]

BEDROOMS
[This is going to be a thing, isn't it.

Chip stares up at the door handle to his room. It shut itself after he left, and there's no easy way for him to jump off something like he did before. He frowns, a little, and tries to climb up anyway...but while he's a nimble little bugger, it takes him a good few tries to even get to the doorknob, and when he does?

He's having trouble turning it. W h e l p.]


OUT AND ABOUT - INVESTIGATION
[Bedroom aside, Chip can be seen here and there scurrying about, trying to make good on his promise to find his own way out. Grumbling to himself every so often, but certainly doing his darned hardest to find any sort of small spaces he can squeeze in to to try and find a new path. He'll start in the lobby, working his way out from the main doors]

DINING AREA

[Having been given the news that they'll probably have to kill each other to escape, Donald's spent the majority of his day reading up on the other guests here. Trying to decide who he trusts and who is most likely to snap his neck and be done with it (there is, unfortunately, at least three individuals on the second list). So if you spot him pacing up and down the bios and muttering to himself for hours on end, no need to be alarmed.]

KITCHEN

[Aside from that, he tries to at least establish some illusion of normality and spends the rest of his time making food. He's not exactly a good cook, but he's had to attempt to provide edible meals for his nephews for how many years now? So he can at least do that.

He sort of falls into the pattern of making sandwiches over and over and over until there's a good dozen of them lined up on the counter. They're not even good sandwiches. Some are just bread and lettuce.]

Everybody but that Narrator guy.

[It's petty but if he can get revenge by excluding him from his Sandwich Party™ then he'll take it.]

Kitchen/Dining area

[With no hotel staff as far as she can tell, Sally has taken it into her own hands to make sure she and her fellow guests have regular meals! Starting, of course, with the most important meal of the day.

In the morning, the scent of bacon and eggs wafts out of the kitchen, and anyone in search of the source will find Sally hard at work preparing breakfast, while humming a tune that may sound familiar if you've played with the biographies. When she sees you, she gives you a bright smile.]

Good morning! I hope you're hungry!

[That's not the only thing on the menu, though- anyone who peeks into the dining room will find table settings already prepared, with some interesting-looking pancakes waiting for them.

There seems to be a theme here.]

Hmh! He can find his own food. [sure is taking one of those bread and lettuce sandwiches, carrying it a bit away from the others.]

If he even eats. He's probably a ghost!

[Or one of the other many potential supernatural beings Donald's been thinking up. He has a list for that, too. He has So Many lists.

Ghosts aren't real. [But he doesn't sound as certain as he would have twenty-four hours ago. Also he kind of figured but he's not a carnivore ok, he's fine with taking a big ol' bite out of this]

[Merlin was already on his way to visit his animal friend. He gives a knock on the door.]

Chip! Are you there?

Oh, shoot, did you want real eyeballs? I couldn't find any in the pantry, so I made do with these candy pieces.

No, thanks. I'll just make do without!

[god she didn't even eat at all yesterday. fucking ravenous.]

It's really nice of you to cook all of this. Are you able to eat normal food yourself? I don't really know how being a living doll works.

Bedroom

[For the most part of Monday, Merlin is going to be holed up in his bedroom. After the announcement, he was furious and had stormed off. But now he is trying to be productive. He had snatched up as many books as he could from the library that seemed helpful and locked himself in his room. No meals or breaks for him.

Just because the door is locked though doesn't mean he won't take visitors...]

Merlin! I can't get the door!

Wha-? Oh yes!

[He goes ahead and turns the handle for him. He carefully pokes his head around the door.]

Just because you can't explain something doesn't mean you blame it on ghosts. I bet there's a reasonable explanation behind all this, we just have to find out what it is!

[THANK U FRIEND. Just gonna sigh in relief and walk on out] I'm fine, but not if I'm gonna need everybody else to open my doors for me. That key's pretty much useless!

Ghosts are a reasonable explanation! At least if he's a ghost we know there's a way to get rid of him!

[GOD do you know nothing of how ghosts work??? Donald's had to deal with at Least three just from Scrooge's habit of collecting cursed artifacts.]
