[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?
But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.
If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.
Either way, we really do hope you enjoy your stay in this hotel.]

[This is going to be a thing, isn't it.
Chip stares up at the door handle to his room. It shut itself after he left, and there's no easy way for him to jump off something like he did before. He frowns, a little, and tries to climb up anyway...but while he's a nimble little bugger, it takes him a good few tries to even get to the doorknob, and when he does?
He's having trouble turning it. W h e l p.]
OUT AND ABOUT - INVESTIGATION
[Bedroom aside, Chip can be seen here and there scurrying about, trying to make good on his promise to find his own way out. Grumbling to himself every so often, but certainly doing his darned hardest to find any sort of small spaces he can squeeze in to to try and find a new path. [Having been given the news that they'll probably have to kill each other to escape, Donald's spent the majority of his day reading up on the other guests here. Trying to decide who he trusts and who is most likely to snap his neck and be done with it (there is, unfortunately, at least three individuals on the second list). So if you spot him pacing up and down the bios and muttering to himself for hours on end, no need to be alarmed.]
KITCHEN
[Aside from that, he tries to at least establish some illusion of normality and spends the rest of his time making food. He's not exactly a good cook, but he's had to attempt to provide edible meals for his nephews for how many years now? So he can at least do that.
He sort of falls into the pattern of making sandwiches over and over and over until there's a good dozen of them lined up on the counter. They're not even good sandwiches. Some are just bread and lettuce.]

[With no hotel staff as far as she can tell, Sally has taken it into her own hands to make sure she and her fellow guests have regular meals! Starting, of course, with the most important meal of the day.
In the morning, the scent of bacon and eggs wafts out of the kitchen, and anyone in search of the source will find Sally hard at work preparing breakfast, while humming a tune that may sound familiar if you've played with the biographies. When she sees you, she gives you a bright smile.]

[For the most part of Monday, Merlin is going to be holed up in his bedroom. After the announcement, he was furious and had stormed off. But now he is trying to be productive. He had snatched up as many books as he could from the library that seemed helpful and locked himself in his room. No meals or breaks for him.

But this all would be much easier to deal with if he had powers. Virgil places the key and sits some distance away, he extends a hand and tries to focus. There's some noise of what sounds to be like electricity, but nothing happens, the key doesn't move not even an inch.
Yep, his powers were severely dampened. Maybe if he tries harder he can overcome that?

Virgil is a quite brilliant person, but he doesn't know much about the supernatural. That's why he goes into the Library and starts reading about that kind of stuff. Judging by his face, he's not really liking what he's reading]
Man, this stuff is like reading insane ramblings. It's hard to believe this is even possible.

Investigating Kitchen
After that, he's going to be investigating. Namely in the kitchen. There, he'll be clearing a way into the floor-level cabinets and crawling inside. The good thing about being a fox? Is he's got great dark vision. So he's looking for anything he can find down here, because he knows some people hide their coin jars here.
Otherwise, he'll be in the game room trying to figure how to play any of these games. He's used to apps on a damn tablet. ]

[Obviously the game was afoot and clearly everyone would be stumbling blindly for awhile. Ratigan may as well kill time before he so brilliantly slips out like the genius he is. He heads into the library which is...covered with nothing but the same cypher. Oh they were really hammering in the theme here.
There he sees the film. He's seen little nickelodeons before, but this was much more fascinating. It had color and sound and these...strange puppets. It was like a Punch and Judy show! Ratigan figured he'd watch and try to make sense of the plot since he came in the middle of it. Just for amusement.

Lobby
[Enough wasting time, Ratigan decides to put his mental muscle to work in devising an escape. Since obviously the doors, windows, and stairs have been locked up, finding a third way is the best option.
Given how Ursula and the others searched the lobby the other day it narrows down his search. The next obvious route is then this clearly broken down service elevator. Since obviously this elevator didn't require any futuristic means to operate it, clearly the only dilemma is opening the door...which is difficult when you're even Ratigan-sized.
Nonetheless there's far bigger guests around here.]

[Finding the room full of clothes comes with a measure of relief; although it might not be immediately obvious to anyone else, Belle is very aware of the fact that she's running around in her undergarments. The white shift dress is at least modest enough that she's not at risk of exposing anything untoward, but that doesn't stop her from immediately diving into the racks of clothes to find something a little more suitable—a loose-fitting, pale blue dress that, at the very least, covers her unmentionables.
Of course, once she's dressed, she can't resist having a peek at the rest of what's in there. Such strange and unusual clothes! Laughing to herself, Belle pulls a pair of shorts off the rack and gives the garment a quizzical look.]

Dining Room
[Eventually, Belle finds herself back in the dining room, looking over the faces of each person who's trapped in here with her. She's always been studious, and she likes to think it's a good idea to learn something about her fellow captives. At least this time, they're all human...or beast. They're not household objects.
Her brow furrows at the photo of herself; it's strange, like looking in a mirror—who could create such a lifelike painting?—but even stranger is reading about herself like she's a character in one of her books. But the thing that surprises her the most is when she presses that button, and hears...her own voice. It's uncomfortable, feeling like someone was listening to her that day on the hilltop—the day everything changed. The day her whole life turned upside down.]
I wish I knew how this all worked.

Investigating!
[The news of just why they were all going to be staying here hit Oswald pretty badly. He'd been in some dangerous scrapes before, but this situation was already proving itself to be almost dire. Only time would tell if the desires of whoever had them trapped here would be satisfied.
So, he busied himself with checking out the mansion, wandering around, mostly in the library, where he spends a good chunk of the day investigating the various books on the shelves. They slowly amass in a pile at the rabbit's feet as he takes one, flips through it, and sets it down. The TV is also on, just playing its usual static.]
C'mon... there's gotta be some kind of secret switch around here...

This game is so weird.
[He's got the Twilight Zone game set up, but there are no other players. The lid of the box is propped up nearby, and he keeps consulting the rules and then drawing his finger along the board.]
So you move along this line...unless you land on the eye, then you just go through the nearest 'wall'...and then you just go anywhere...?

[While Sally's in charge of breakfast, Tadashi's decided he's in charge of (at least one) dinner. Unofficially. Mostly he's just commandeered the kitchen while it was empty and figured he'd make enough food for anyone who might want some. Thus, there's a couple pots full of soup as well as some bags of
Doritostortilla chips to go with said soup.He's not serving anyone, though; it's self-serve if you want any.

[This place was amazing! Dipper loves books on the supernatural and the occult! So he's grabbed a stack of them and is casually flipping through them as he tries to see if there's anything remotely the same as the creatures that he remembers from Gravity Falls.]
If only there was paper... I could be taking some notes on this. I wonder if they'd mind me adding notes in the margins.

I've recently come into possession of some clothing. There's a top that wishes death on a "Barbie" - absent on the guest list, I'm sure many of you are relieved to hear - and a pair of spectacles I'm afraid only have use in the sentimental aspect of the word.

Oh. And there was a cat, but I'm afraid the creature ran off. I hope it doesn't get into anything too awful in this decrepit death-trap!

She spends most of the morning in one corner of the lobby, having cleared a space and apparently just... exercising and running combat drills with um. Later on after a quick shower she can be found in the coat check sifting through all the clothes looking for... jeans, it looks like? More pants. She does carefully wash that purple shirt she's always had under her armor, curiously enough, and seems in no hurry to swap it out for anything.

Other than that, there's a dragon costume of some kind that he immediately disregards (what does he look like, a furry?), a weird gun that's pretty useless outside of maybe some laughs, and a handkerchief.
The last item is the most useful in a place like this- a silver pocket knife. Good for self defense, at least, though he thinks it's probably a good idea to keep it hidden from some of the other guests. He sits at one of the game room tables for a long while, just aimlessly messing around with it.
Later in the afternoon he can be found (despite his best efforts to avoid anyone seeing him) rummaging through the coat check while wearing his suit top and... trying on a variety of different pants?]

Because after that, a bit of a spectacle starts taking place. Namely, they spar. Once everything's out of the way and they've stretched out, they get into position. ]

[ Aaaand they're off! ...Shortly after the event, while undoubtedly panting heavily, the girls make sure to move the furniture back to where it was, as a common courtesy, and then for a good time after they're done, they'll both be in the kitchen, replenishing their energy with a good amount of sandwiches and water.
