[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?

But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.

If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.

Like the things in movies or comic books? [ Thalia squashes the static electricity between her finger and thumb. ]

Exactly like those. You know how they go, some crazy stuff happens, the next morning you wake up and wonder what you're going to do with what you can do now. It's crazy.

[He tries one last time, barely managing to make the key levitate like one inch from his hand, and sighs. This is useless, he can't help anyone escape with such weak power]

Hmm. Life's always been kind of crazy for me, so I can't...entirely relate, but I can to it getting crazier. [ She leans against a kitchen counter; gods, it feels strange talking about this with a mortal. ] And now...you're a superhero? Fighting bad guys, righting wrongs?

I did! Man, I never thought I'd be meeting a demigod! Maybe they do exist somewhere in the world where I come from and I just never realized. Do you guys stay hidden?

We have to, from monsters, but mostly it's the Mist that does the screening from mortals. Ever seen something kinda strange that you just shrugged off? That might've been the Mist covering us up.

Someone here she was a daughter of Bellona. That means she's a demigod too, right?

Yep! That's Reyna. We're from...sort of wildly different backgrounds since she's Roman and I'm Greek, but we've fought together once before. She's a reliable sort.

Were you two together before arriving here? I mean, you both got taken here, so maybe you were in the same place...

[ She shakes her head. ]

We only really met once, like...a week ago? Week and a half? Time's weird when you're fighting giants. Anyway, we just missed each other when we had the chance to meet up again.
