Week 1
[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?
But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.
If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.
Either way, we really do hope you enjoy your stay in this hotel.]
[ Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday ]
{OOC And this'll be the last mod post for the week! Feel free to drop your coins into the penny press once you've earned them. And because this is a peace week, there will be no murder committed! And if you plan on investigating, just let us know in your toplevel by putting in INVESTIGATION. Have fun while you still can!]

But how would you do that?

[He grabbed the handle]
Alakazam!
[He tried to pull it down but it stayed in place.]
Hmph... ALAKAZAM!
[Still nothing]
Oh my. My powers are too weak in this horrible place I'm afraid. I'm sorry, lad.
no subject
oh, Merlin. You poor thing. You're senile.]
That's okay. You tried.
no subject
[He's not crazy about the idea, but Chip starving to death in his room would be worse.]
no subject
You really think he'll do that.

MODS
sulkingthinking in silence before;]So what, we just say, 'Hey Mister Narrator, can you help me with my stupid room'?
no subject
Maybe if you say "please".

no subject
C-Careful now! You'll break your neck doing that!
no subject
So you needed help with the door, was it?
no subject
Yeees....he can't reach the thing.
no subject
Warn a guy next time, won't you!?
[his expression...then softens. a little.]
I don't know if you noticed, but it's kind of sized for humans, not chipmunks.
no subject
[He pauses thoughtfully.]
I'll see what I can do about this door, it might take me a little while to set something up but you deserve the ability to enter your room.

However, in the event that I won't be done by the end of the day, I wouldn't be opposed to making sure your bedroom door is open when you need rest.
[Or Chip could stay with another person.]
no subject
Okay, then, good enough. Please, will you do that, and let me know as soon as it's done?
[SEE, HE SAID PLEASE.]
no subject
no subject
Consider it done.
no subject
Thanks.
[he GUESSES]

[He's keeping half his attention on the Narrator, trying to see how he disappears. Since he...didn't see how he appeared in the first place.]
