[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?

But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.

If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.

Either way, we really do hope you enjoy your stay in this hotel.]

Huh. [sounds familiar] What sort of people live there?

Demigods, generally. Children of the Roman gods, or their descendants.

Oh! Like Hercules! [thats greek]

Hercules is the Roman spelling, yes, but he was originally Greek. That's a different camp. Demigods in general are the children of a god and a mortal. My mother, for example, is Bellona, the Roman goddess of war.

... Considering how much of an endeavor getting the greek and roman camps to admit the other existed without starting a war, there might be, but I wouldn't know about it.

But, they do exist, right?

It's possible, but I've never heard anything about it.

[ Since she's not one of the main characters, who have crossed over into the Egypt series AND the Norse series. ]

Do wars really happen every time you guys interact? You're all basically the same team, aren't you?

They did for a long time. It was... there were some long-held grudges that kept boiling up. Until something forced us to put those behind us, recently.

It does have a way of bringing people together, doesn't it? At least for a little while.

If I have my way, we'll stay together. The greeks seem to agree with me.

The same, now that Octavian is... gone.

[ hes dead, he exploded, it was great, octavian was the worst ]

As praetor, though, my voice reflects the wishes of my camp. That's all I meant.

I just wanted to make sure they weren't all... [makes vaguely combative gestures with her hands]

A fair concern. We're fine, don't worry. Rebuilding from the conflict that brought our camps together, but fine.

[ She frowns. ]

I only hope Frank Zhang can run things effectively until I return.
