[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?

But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.

If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.

Either way, we really do hope you enjoy your stay in this hotel.]

[well, what kind of person would she be if she let her distant relative that she didn't even know about until yesterday starve to death? a terrible one, that's what.

so, she's rustled up some of Donald's terrible lettuce sandwiches and a glass of milk, balancing it all on one hand so she can knock on his door with the free one. knock knock.]

[Merlin glances up from his back and with a flick of the wrist his door creaks open.]

Come in; come in!

[she steps in and looks around for a place to put the food.]

You seem pretty busy. What are you up to?

Oh you brought me food? Well thank you my dear!

[He grabs a sandwich]

I've been trying to research some magic to see if we could attempt an escape. Alas, I'm afraid I haven't gotten very far.

[hallotween]

I hadn't seen you all day, so I figured you were like Dylan and just forgot that food is something people need sometimes. Donald made it, so if it's awful, blame him.

[frowns] What kind did you have in mind? The way our magic is right now, we probably couldn't get a portal going, even if we used every magic-user here.

[higitusfigitusmigitusmum]

[He frowns a bit and inspected the sandwich. Seems safe to him?]

I must agree. My research hasn't gotten me far unfortunately. It's a tad disheartening...

[He wishes he had better news but there's no reason to lie. Even if it hurts his ego.]

Well, it is only our second day. You can't expect to figure out everything that quickly.

[pause] Have... you considered asking some other magic-users for help?

[He take a bite of the sad sandwich.]

Are you volunteering?

Oh, of course! That just goes without saying!

I'm talking more about... you know. The others.

Do you know of anyone else who is a magic user in the hotel?

But, she's a way more powerful witch than I am! And I think she'd be really willing to help out!

[He pounds against his chest]

I-I-I-I don't trust her! I can't trust her! So forget it, missy!

[hallotween]

You don't have to trust her! You just have to work with her long enough for us to get out of here. We all have to work together-- and that includes the jerks.

I-I-I don't trust her intent! Perhaps she doesn't want to escape! Perhaps she'd rather trap us here too!

[She did LITERALLY trap him earlier[

All of us want to escape, Merlin! Would she choose to have her powers limited like the rest of us if she really didn't want to?

Weeelll...I suppose I see your point. Very well then. For the sake of escape I will try to work peacefully with everyone.
