[Now that the Narrator is done explaining the situation, you all have time to assess the situation and maybe even work together to find a way out. After all, clearly the Narrator is being over dramatic and it can't be that hard to escape out of here without murdering everyone, right?

But, with the doors outside indeed locked and all the windows unbreakable, it might not be a bad idea to explore the hotel, either for alternative methods of escape or to relieve boredom. Your Narrator is also now available for private chat in case you want to interrogate him or throw more stuff at his face.

If the locked doors aren't bad enough, when everyone goes back to the lobby, they'll notice a plaque on the front desk. If you thought your Narrator wasn't serious before, this is damning evidence to the contrary.

Either way, we really do hope you enjoy your stay in this hotel.]

[ Cracks her knuckles. ]

Why do you think I insisted we move those out of the way? No unfair advantages, Praetor.

If I remember correctly, you put a bag on my head first. But anyway...

[ She's a roman, though and romans rush in. So she'll make the first attack, dashing forward and aiming a kick at Thalia's legs to try to trip her. ]

[ Thalia has just enough time to roll her eyes before leaping back to dodge the kick. A smirk's set on her face, ohhh, this feels more right already. Even without her bow, or her knives. The world slows down around her and she can dissect the fight in split-seconds, just like is natural.

What she's going to try to do is grab hold of Reyna's leg as it's out, just topple her over like that. ]

[ Ah yes, this is better. Reyna's been itching for a good fight since she got here, and half the best sparring matches she's had have been with a Grace.

Reyna changes course, dropping her leg to the ground and shifting into a hook towards Thalia's face with the forward momentum and closer distance. ]

[ You can take the demigods out of the war zone, etc. etc.

A fist to the face? Easy. She brings up her left hand to block and take hold of it, definitely the weaker side but hey, her right was a little focused on that leg. ]

[audentiae]

[ Grabbing her arm, huh? Alright, Reyna will just yank back on that to try to unbalance her. ]

[ Oh! She's coming in close, is she? There is only one thing to do in this situation, and that's lean into her momentum and headbutt away!

...though she has her circlet on oops oh no this is going to be bad sorry reyna!!! ]

[ OKAY THAT... IS GOING TO GET REYNA TO STAGGER BACK A LITTLE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE CIRCLET, WITH KIND OF A. MUFFLED PAIN NOISE.

She raises a hand to her forehead and... yep, that's a trickle of blood. ]

Good move, Thalia.

[ Thankfully, Reyna appreciates things like this?? ]

[ For a moment, there's a look of yikes, as it can best be described, on Thalia's face, and she shrugs sheepishly. ]

Had to repay you for those ribs somehow?

[ But then it's right back in it. Reyna's a warrior; she wouldn't like it if she went soft now. Thalia sweeps forward to follow that up with an elbow aimed for Reyna's stomach. ]

[audentiae]

[ Reyna chuckles- or at least gets out a single chuckle (a chuck?) before that elbow's coming for her. She steps forward and to the side, blocking the elbow and going in for another leg sweep now that they're closer. ]

[ That move again? ...Is what Thalia would think, if it didn't absolutely work this time. She starts to go down, hard, but you know, if she does this right-

She grabs one of Reyna's wrists with one hand, the one with the elbow, and then her armor with the other. If she's going down, Reyna's coming with her. ]

[audentiae]

[ Well, here we are! Wrestling time. Reyna wastes no time pushing to try to make sure she lands on top. ]

[sentree]

[ Oh we're doing this are we??? Thalia tries to entangle their legs, so she can get them to roll and therefore at least be on their sides. ...Or her be on top, that'd be better. ]

[audentiae]

[ The net effect of these forces is probably that they both end up on their sides, oops.

Reyna isn't... as familiar with this, but she's going to try to push Thalia onto her back. ]

[ Haha, well you know what Thalia is totally used to? Greek wrestling!! Training new hunters, the like. So Thalia tries to take control of the situation, getting a hand at Reyna's dominant forearm.

...We are doing so well at describing shit, look at us go. ]

[audentiae]

[ Reyna's going to try to... oh, this is unfortunate, she's going to try to grab at Thalia's shoulder, but it's with her non-dominant arm so uh...

She misses being at full strength, man. ]

[ Absolute score, Thalia can't hide her grin as she uses her full weight to roll the both of them, and then direct that to pin Reyna to the floor, dominant arm still taken care of and the other, well... She's very much pinning her shoulders by way of her own dominant arm, across Reyna's collar. ]

[audentiae]

[ Oof. Well, Reyna did win their last fight, she can take a close loss to an immortal huntress at hand-to-hand.

She look up at Thalia, studying her for a moment. ]

Eheu... Good match.

[ Likely to savor the victory, she keeps Reyna pinned for a few seconds longer, triumphantly looking down at her. ]

We're even, now. [ ...And then releases her, getting to her feet and offering a hand to help Reyna up. ] You still made me work for it, I'll be feeling that for a few days.

[audentiae]

[ Reyna takes it, composure settling back in as the adrenaline wears off. ]

I'll take being evenly matched to a lieutenant of Artemis.

Tell me straight, I'm better than Jason, right? Haven't had the chance to really properly spar with him.

[ ...........and she absolutely would hold back because she still in some ways sees him as the two-year-old who tried to eat a stapler-- ]

You're... you fight differently. But I think between the two of you, you would win more often than him.

Ha! Well, there we have it, then, take that baby brother. Who needs to be able to fly?

...Should we put those chairs and stuff back?

[ A glance at the furniture. ]

I think people would be upset if we didn't.
