Week 5

[Five deaths in one week, and almost half of the guests have died now. The Narrator is now claiming that the man who's trying to save all the guests is a cold-hearted killer, and he doesn't seem to be lying about this. But on the other hand, that doesn't explain why he continues to do any of this, or if he's even an entirely good guy here.

Whether you like it or not, tension is becoming unusually high in this hotel now.

But hey, at least you get a nice new floor to tide you over.

Upstairs, Rod kept telling me to stay up there, probably because he was worried that I might get hurt somehow.

He's a great kid, but he worries too much for his own good.

But— you know Rod? Do you... know what happened to him? He disappeared yesterday.

I'm sorry to say that I only realized anything was happening when I heard him screaming. By the time I went to check on him the damage had been done and I still don't know what happened.

But you have no idea how relieved I was when I realized Rod hadn't died from that attack.

His hologram disappeared, but his real body is a lot less damaged.

Not to say that he wasn't hurt, but after everything, I feared the worse.

So he does have a body!

If I'm not mistaken, he happily lead everyone to believe he was immortal.

Yet... [ And here is a nasty little chuckle. ] From what you've told us, it seems he's quite capable of being wounded in ways beyond his ego.

Yes, Rod has had a habit of telling guests he's immortal.

[ It's not surprising, considering John appears to be Nice and Ursula is Not.

But she sobers up a little, considering. ]

I suppose it's understandable. After all, many do blame him for our situation, no matter how much he's asserted that he isn't.

Are the ones that are also the ones responsible for his recent fate?

It's a possibility, but a lot of people have been vanishing from EPCOT lately, it's possible the attack is related.

As safe as he can be. He was still attacked, and I would be a liar if I said I wasn't worried about it happening again.

... It's hard to figure out how badly the damage is, but hopefully he'll be feeling better in a little while.

Rod was pretty badly injured from whatever attacked him, so I figured I could do some work for him while he rests.
