[Five deaths in one week, and almost half of the guests have died now. The Narrator is now claiming that the man who's trying to save all the guests is a cold-hearted killer, and he doesn't seem to be lying about this. But on the other hand, that doesn't explain why he continues to do any of this, or if he's even an entirely good guy here.

Whether you like it or not, tension is becoming unusually high in this hotel now.

But hey, at least you get a nice new floor to tide you over.

[She arches an eyebrow, and snorts derisively.]

The late Monsieur Rod rarely told us anything of use, I'm afraid.

That's Rod for you. I keep telling him that his character isn't everything but I'm afraid he's set in his ways.

I'm guessing he told you that he was some ageless, immortal being too?

Well—yes, in a way. It seems that wasn't quite the truth, was it?

I wouldn't be too harsh on him about that. I'm pretty sure that ever since that incident, Rod's been ashamed of who he really is.

He's still with us. He's resting now, but he might show up sooner or later.
