[Five deaths in one week, and almost half of the guests have died now. The Narrator is now claiming that the man who's trying to save all the guests is a cold-hearted killer, and he doesn't seem to be lying about this. But on the other hand, that doesn't explain why he continues to do any of this, or if he's even an entirely good guy here.

Whether you like it or not, tension is becoming unusually high in this hotel now.

But hey, at least you get a nice new floor to tide you over.

[Thursday sees something that might be interesting - Chip talking to the wall. But if you watch long enough, you'll notice something else - namely, a form occasionally popping out, barking, and then popping back in. While Chip seems a little skeeved out by this, he settles down, seemingly trying to direct the ghost-dog to help him scope out the place.

Later he'll be in the Coffee Shop, trying to figure out how any of this works. His companion will seemingly be elsewhere...]

[Honestly, after everything that happened on Tuesday his first thought is that this is another Rod situation, and everyone else is going to get horribly attacked and also turn out to apparently be holograms. So it's only out of concern that he hangs around and watches (from a safe distance, he doesn't want to get dragged into that creepy shit) long enough to see... uh... whatever that is pop out of the wall.

It would probably be more alarming if this were literally any other week, but at this point he's just really fucking tired of this shit happening.]

Doesn't this hotel have enough visitors already?

[Thankfully, Chip can take a hint] Not a dog person, huh?- Hey! Zero! [The ghost looks between him and Donald before emitting another bark and happily floating back towards Chip, who half-raises a hand as though to pet him before re-remembering...ghost.]

[Zero, however, will happily place his head under that paw]

More like not a ghost person. And all the dogs in Duckburg walk on two legs— this is just weird.

[He eyes it warily, but luckily it seems to have lost interest in him. Good to know it won’t just be running around completely out of control. He’d probably actually have a heart attack.]

At least it seems to listen to you pretty well.
