[The usual scene plays of everyone going into the elevator after they finish up investigation. But when the elevator starts moving, they will hear John’s voice instead of The Narrator’s. It clearly sounds like he’s reading from some sort of script.]

[... Strangely, however, the elevator doesn’t drop this time, the doors instead open as soon as John finishes his speech, leading once again to The Tip Top Club. Now Reyna and Belle’s pictures are in grayscale and, instead of Rod sitting on stage, John is there, looking at some papers. He offers the guests a comforting smile when they enter.]

I shouldn’t complain that Rod’s doing something creative with his time, but I have to admit, I don’t get what he sees appealing about writing something like this. Don’t know why he had the elevator set to “ride” mode either.

I, uh...made some old fashioned lemonade for you guys. [He motions to the lemonade pitcher and cups on the counter.] Feel free to help yourself.

Really, I'm not certain that point had anything at all to do with what he ingested.

Who's to say that she did? How quickly did you feel affected?

It wasn't immediate or anything. I mean, it tasted really bitter right away, but I didn't feel very sick right off the bat.

What else would cause all those physical effects on Belle's body?

I do think I heard that there handprints on her throat. I might be wrong, but isn't that the only place you humans catch your breath?

You know when you're choking, and your hands kind of go like... [... wait ursula has probs never choked before SO SHE JUST puts her hands around her own neck.] If you're dying and can't breathe, maybe you don't care how hard your hands are pressing down.

If anyone took some sort of etching for the marks, it sounds to me like there's a simple solution for being certain.

We could check everyone's hands, see if they match the bruises. I don't know how reliable it would be, but it might give us some clue.

We've got some pretty wide variety as far as sizes go, here. [like... Ratigan and Chip, for example.] It'd probably be helpful.

I think we can rule out the two smallest right away.
