[Another week another set of bodies, and now, the guests aren't the only ones dying in this hotel. At this point it seems as though something is attacking the nonguests of this hotel. What's attacking them, however, no one seems to know. But surely you can all find out before more people die, right?

No new floors open up this week, but people will find on Sunday that the locked door on the first floor is now unlocked. It's a good time as any to see what's behind it.

[When everyone goes down to the library today, they will find neither The Narrator or John in the room. Or anyone who is not the guest for that matter. Instead, what they will find is a letter placed on the desk.]

Good Morning remaining guests!

It seems like your two lovely hosts aren’t in the mood to be doing motives now. So, instead of a traditional motive, I have taken it upon myself tell everyone a secret The Narrator has been keeping from you all.

At least one person who walks among you is a mole. They have been working against you since the very beginning, and they continue to do so even as your numbers dwindle. I can’t say who they work for exactly, or the exact details of what they’ve been doing, but I know for a fact that someone is going behind everyone else’s backs as we speak.

Please take caution with who you talk to.

[Alright, what is this bullshit, Virgil wonders. Virgil reads the letter, he's tempted to take it and throw it away, but judges everyone should read it. That said...]

Don't trust the words of someone who doesn't even sign with their name or show their face.

Maybe you do, maybe you don't. We all need to stop acting like there's nothing to worry about here. Every week, without fail, someone has murdered another person.

If we corner the mole, they'll kill someone to escape. If we find the mole, someone will kill them. Those are pretty much the only ways this thing ends.

But there might not even BE a mole!

I think there is. Betraying everyone for literally no good reason sounds exactly like something somebody here would do.

[Oswald takes one look at the letter and frowns hard. He kind of crumples the letter a little, but boy does this kind of make him worried....]

That's the thing that worries me.

[Well that's worrying...and very vague. It would be too much to drop a name or even a description.]

Great. Like we needed any reason to distrust one another any more.

Then... we should just ignore it!

Easier said than done.

[He wants to ignore it, and trust everyone, but he can't. Everyone gets too worked up too fast over little things that it's hard to actually trust anyone to keep a level head about anything. Except Virgil and Joshua, but even he doesn't trust either one of them 100%.]
