Week 6

[Another week another set of bodies, and now, the guests aren't the only ones dying in this hotel. At this point it seems as though something is attacking the nonguests of this hotel. What's attacking them, however, no one seems to know. But surely you can all find out before more people die, right?

No new floors open up this week, but people will find on Sunday that the locked door on the first floor is now unlocked. It's a good time as any to see what's behind it.

[Late Sunday afternoon, if you're in your room, you'll find a note slipped under your door--Meeting in the lobby at 5. -T.

If you're out and about, Tadashi will find you and let you know verbally.

When you arrive, Tadashi's sitting on top of the front desk, holding a notebook you might've seen him with at the trial.]

Thanks for coming. I meant to bring this up Friday but...well, you guys know. But anyway, Belle left letters for everyone, in here. [Holds up the notebook] I thought it would be easier to hand them out all at once.

It's funny, I never received so many letters back home.

[tadaishi]

[Here's yours, Sally]

Neither have I. But it's nice to have something to remember people by, right?

[darnsitall]

But I don't want to just remember. I want to see them in person.

[She only means to glance at the words on the page, but the words "don't try to bring me back" catch her eye.]

She doesn't... want to come back...

[tadaishi]

Of course...I do, too.

[Especially Belle and Thalia.]

She doesn't?

[darnsitall]

She wants to be with her beloved... she told me about him before. She held him in her arms as she died.

[tadaishi]

That...that would make sense. If they're both dead, they can be reunited.

[Perhaps.]

Really? I'm actually a little surprised that she wrote something for everyone.

[He and Belle didn't talk quite as much as he would have liked to do so, so he can only imagine what hers would say to him.]

[tadaishi]

[One for you, Josh]

Maybe she thought it would raise morale.

... Or she had previously unsaid opinions to give about some of us here.

[He says, as he reads his own letter here now.]

Or that. That's up to you to figure out. I didn't read anyone's letter except for my own.

[With the exception of a few phrases here and there, as he did accidentally with Kylo's.]

[Joshua hums a little at that, before he then holds up his own letter.]

I'll let you read mine if you let me read yours?

That's a weird offer. There's nothing particularly interesting about my letter.

[lusito]

What can I say? I'm curious to know what had to see to you in comparison to what she wrote for me.

[tadaishi]

[He considers this for a few moments, then pulls the letter out of his pocket and holds it out for Joshua to take.]

Go ahead. Lemme see yours.

[lusito]

[Letter swap! Go ahead and take a gander at Josh's while he reads yours...]

... Even when bringing up that accusation of murder that's been getting thrown around, she's still nicer to you than she was to me. [How is that fair??]

[tadaishi]

Maybe she just thinks you're a bad person.

[He laughs at that. Joshua probably isn't the best person, but that's a pretty high bar, and super subjective anyway.]

I don't know exactly why she was nicer to me.

[hey Tadashi his letter is probably bigger than he is]

Everyone...?

[tadaishi]

[He gets a new tent, then.. Here you go, he'll fold it up a couple times smaller so Chip can actually hold it better.]

Everyone that was left when she was here.

She really wrote them for everyone?

[He accepts it, staring down at in in his hands.]

I wonder where she found the time...

[tadaishi]

Everyone who was still here before last week's trial.

They're pretty short letters; they might not have taken very long to write.

Well, it's still the thought that counts.

[And Belle certainly put some thought into these.]
