[A whole week has come and gone. To the who, unknown to all the guests, are currently watching this, they would know by now that things are about to get much worse from here. However, to the guests, this might seem like a good sign. Even with all the questionable people already debating murder (I'm looking at you Hiro), no one has done it yet. Maybe everyone can find a way out of here without resorting to violence and murder?

[Louis has wandered into the kitchen because, currently, that's where all the warmth in this manor is. And, of course, Mimlin is there. He looks up, bewildered.]

Madam Mim? [He's pretty sure he saw her change in the foyer earlier but he just wants to make sure.] I could use a lil' help drinkin' this stuff. No thumbs.

[madmadam]

Greetings, Boots! Of course I'll help you!

[Her (very male) voice is almost sickeningly sweet.]

Which one should we try today?

Boots? What?

[None of these things look appealing to him. He does not enjoy dealing with magic he doesn't know about, but he'll take what he can get.]

Maybe the green one?

[madmadam]

I thought it a good nickname for you! You look like Boots!

[She reaches over and picks up the green potion, which seems to glow brighter as she handles it.]

Excellent choice! It really brings out the color in your scales! Now, open wide~!

Uh....that's...nice?

[Reaaally prefer not to be compared to skinned animals right now but okay. He opens his maw as wide as possible.]

[Mim's face curls into an evil grin as she unceremonious dumps the potion into the gator's open mouth. It tastes terrible, like burned hair. Maybe she wasn't successful at keeping the beard out of it after all.]

Marvelous, boy! Simply marvelous! Now, how are we feeling?

[bayoublues]

Yuck! What did you put in that?!

[He's feeling...uncomfortable, that's what. And like he has to sneeze.]

A...AH-CHOO!

[A bunch of pink bubbles float out of his nostrils. He tries to open his mouth, but more just keep pouring out instead of words.]

[madmadam]

[Mim can't hold it in any longer. She explodes with wild laughter.]

I guess it didn't cure ya after all! [CACKLES] I win! I win!

[Louis tries to speak again, but more bubbles keep coming out. His tail lashes back and forth in frustration. Great. He resorts to "accidentally" whacking Nim with his tail.]

[madmadam]

Ooof!

[The tail gets her right in the knee, knocking her off balance. She tumbles to the floor.]

Ohhhh! My hip! Now look what you've done! I've fallen and I can get up!

[bayoublues]

[Tilts his head up. The bubbles have started to die down a little more, but it's still very difficult to speak.]

Sssefves huu rite.

[And now he's going to very, very slowly make his way out of the kitchen. If you tug on his tail, he'll probably be forced to stay.]

[madmadam]

[Mim, being the sore loser she is, does exactly that.]

And where do you think YOU'RE going, Boots?

[bayoublues]

Ack!

[That stops him in his tracks. Cold alligators are not very strong.]

Abubgb tu leabe, das bwat.

[When will these infernal bubbles stop?!]

[madmadam]

[Which is lucky for Mim because Merlin's body is old and frail and probably can't hang on to an actual alligator for very long.]

So soon? But we're only getting started!

Egh, nu thbanks, I justh realibthed, uh, sobeone wanths to gibe me a sthweater.

[cue this big ass lizard scrambling in place--but extremely slowly.]

[madmadam]

[Her grip starts to slip juuuust a little!]

But I've got so many more potions to test! And you're such a good little guinea gator! Why, I might even have one that'll warm you up!

[bayoublues]

...Really?

[He's still suspicious but he stops trying to scramble out of her grip. A few tiny bubbles come out of his mouth, then pop.]

Hang on--will it light me on fire or somethin'? 'Cus I ain't about that.

[madmadam]

[Hoo boy this was just too easy.]

Of course not! My potions are perfectly safe!

[They're just really, really annoying.]

...Okay.

[Turns around veeeeery slowly and puts himself in a more comfortable position.]

But if I get any more of that bubble stuff, I'm leavin', y'hear me?

[wow must be SO hard for bipedal mammals to get up on their legs while this gator is left on the ground]

Well, the green one was nasty. I like the look of the pink one, though, that one looks a little tastier.
