[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[this is the worst week of her life. this is the worst week of her life. this is-- holy shit there's instruments now THIS IS THE BEST WEEK OF HER ENTIRE LIFE

so somewhere around midafternoon bc villains don't get up before lunchtime there's just the fuckin excited screaming of a teenage girl thinking she just found heaven and it looks like a pile of instruments she literally can't decide which one she wants first so she's in the music room holding like an armful of instruments and possibly considering just stealing them.

around when everyone has dinner she's gonna be in the dining room because she has made the conscious decision to force everyone to listen to her play this acoustic guitar she's been tuning all day. actually she's still tuning it. it's annoying. stop her.]

[HELLO FELLOW EXCITED GIRL you're not alone!!! Mabel's been checking out the instruments when Freddie comea in like a whirlwind, and seeing the other girl's excitement fuels her excitement]

Isn't this cool??? We could, like, get a band together with all this stuff!!!

This is the most beautiful room I've ever seen. [okay maybe she should just decide on one. this is a true sophie's choice situation.] You know how to play anything, ma petite?

I can play stuff on a keyboard!!! And piano too I guess. They're pretty much the same thing, right? [A look of pride flashes across her face, and she puffs up a little.] I even wrote my own music once!

Really? That's pretty wicked; I can barely even read music, let alone write out what I'm playing. [such is her self-taught life] What sorta music was it?

A full-cast rock opera using sock puppets.

[Her tone? Dead fucking serious.]

Sounds like something Evie would've done at your age. [grins] Did all the puppets have their own little outfits and everything?

Uh huh! They were all handmade by yours truly and my bestest friends!

... It was all to impress some weirdo guy that was way too into hus puppets, so it kinda bombed.

[Plus there was that whole thing with Dipper getting possessed by Bill, but. Details.]

But he looked so cool! What else could I do??? I had to do something big...

[Ugh, biggest waste of her time.]

I mean, when I was your age and I liked someone, I just pulled her hair. Or pushed her into a mud puddle. [or did nothing and just. seethed.] Thinking up a whole opera to get somebody's attention sounds like some serious dedication to the cause.

I dunno, that seems kinda mean.... I want boys to like me, not think I'm annoying.

[Which a lot of other kids seem to think she is anyway, so...]

If you really like someone, ypu should do something really special to get their attention!

It's not annoying! It's assertive. [it's super annoying.

Hi, Freddie- oh. Ohh, jeez. You're a music fan, then?

That's putting it lightly! Music is pretty much my entire life. I nearly lost my mind last week, with only those buttons and cooking pots.

[she idly strums a guitar she's holding-- and immediately grimaces.]

I wonder how long these poor things have just been sitting here, all alone... [she is super showing more empathy for instruments than she has people?]

Probably too long. You see that dust...? Ugh. ...I didn't realize, though, what do you play?

Just about anything I can get my hands on. I mostly play the guitar, though-- and sing. Jazz. I've been told I'm not half bad at either.

Oooh... Maybe you can play for everyone! Nothing like some singing to raise spirits.

Well, I mean, I don't know, if you want me to perform for everybody every single day every chance I get, I can't refuse a direct request, I'd sure hate to disappoint--

Freddie, please play for everyone. [ don't decide this for them???? ] And, hey, if you ever feel like a duet...

Duet? [alright, you got her attention.] What've you got?

Well, no specialty in jazz, but there's some guitar and backup vocals in here.

[ oh is it time for a jam session? c: ]

Well, you can't just drop something like that on me and not back it up!

Well, if I have to...

[ She does seem rather excited about singing but once she gets the guitar......kind of tuned, the only song that jumps out at her is a personally awkward one-

and she just kind of goes for it, short little thing, high folksy voice ]

[after she's done, she definitely gets some applause.]
