[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[ I mean she hasn't been to a party before this in years because being jyn erso is suffering, but. ]

I'm going to go ahead and assume that's a metaphor. But they look good.

I've only tested them on my friend before, so it's great to get some more opinions on them.

I haven't had any other nachos to compare, but these are good.

[Marco nods, and he takes another one.]

....you know, I kinda hope getting together like this will help everyone get to know each other a little better. Maybe it'll help convince people that murder isn't the only option, and then we won't have to go through what we saw last week.

We can hope. The less reason anyone here has to kill, the better.

Definitely.

Though I don't think "I'm trapped with a bunch of strangers" really counts as a reason, either.

People can do terrible things when they're desperate.

[ eats a fuckin nacho like that's not a thing she just said ]

But the more people here get along, the less desperate they should be while we try to find another way out.

Yeah, that's... I guess that's fair.

Some of us aren't really the "friend" type, so we'll probably have to keep an eye on them while we try to figure something out.

Very true. At the very least we need to try to convince them it's worth working together.

[Marco nods in agreement, taking another chip for himself.]

It's not that easy to convince a jerk to get along with everyone else, though. I mean, I guess we could beat them up until they agree.

Let's try to avoid any kind of violence unless we need it. That's only going to play into what our hosts want.

[Marco's quiet for a moment, looking a bit like he Disagrees with her statement before he gives a small shrug.]

Yeah, okay. I'm not going to hold back if someone punches me first, but I agree.

It'd be nice to just solve everything with words instead.

Oh don't get me wrong, if someone punches first, then the violence is needed. But there's a certain type that trades a blaster bolt to the head for a light push, and I don't want to see that happen here.

Oh, yeah... now that you mention it, there's a couple people here who'd probably react badly to a punch in the eye.

[But he loves punching things so much..]

We'll just have to work on them some other way... maybe bribing?

Bribing could work, though I don't know how many chips we're really holding in here.

We caaaaan.. bribe them with food?

[He says this as he pulls another chip up as if to emphasize his point.]

These are good chips.

[ She sighs. ]

For now, we just need to keep an eye on them.

Agreed, yeah.

At least it's.. mostly just Negaduck and Gaston we need to keep an eye on.
