Week 3
[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.
But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!
And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
[OOC: and don't forget to fill out this week's activity check!]

So she is looking to distract herself today. What better than to spend those coins at the slot machine? Maybe she'll get her old power bow, that'd be handy right about now.
No such luck, but there are some interesting things there, including- ]
Okay, this is just getting ridiculous now. You meet Santa Claus one time...
[ Later in the day, she's bumming around the library, with the notepad she used to communicate last week. Writing...something. Strangely, though he's been on her belt the whole week, the white tiger sword Saba isn't with her. There's been a lot on her mind, since he emerged from the slot machine. Sunday put so many thoughts in her head, and despite the danger, it's what keeps just picking at her.
So she's got a bunch of crumpled up papers around her and a frustrated expression. You may come along when she rips yet another one up and groans, or perhaps in a softer moment, when she's very lightly singing under her breath. ]
But you'll never stand alone, my friend. You'll never stand...
[ It's a sad sound. She sighs. ]

Who's Santa Claus?

[ She holds up the big red cloak. ]
Santa Claus is the guy who wears this. Do you know what Christmas is?
no subject
Of course I do! It's...
[...]
Actually, I guess I don't know.

Ugh! Okay, so Christmas is this wonderful holiday where you celebrate...well, it started as the birth of Jesus, who's really important in some religions, but really it's about the love and cheer you can spread to one another. People give their loved ones presents and sing songs... It's a time for families to be together, and people to let each other know just how much they care.

[He, uh, definitely recognizes that name from when he was practicing reading on the bios earlier.]
But it sounds real great! When are you supposed to celebrate it?

Get anything else worthwhile?
no subject
Umm...another coat, but I think it's a bit...suspect [ animal fur in other words ] and two badges, another outfit- oh, there's this dolly?
[ She holds it up.

Looking at the state of the table, he can guess she's been at it for a while. He can also guess she's probably not paying very much attention to her surroundings, so he clears his throat lightly as he takes a seat next to her.]
You look like you're having a bad brainstorming session. [He would know. He has them all the time.] Wanna talk about it? Sometimes talking can help you find a new angle.

Kim starts and looks up when Hiro sits down. ] Hiro! Oh, I'm just... It's just hard to concentrate with everything going on, that's all.

[He didn't really read the first one beyond the first paragraph, but it made her angry and he sounds vaguely concerned about this.]
Well, maybe you should start with what you want to say to him.

It'd be great if I knew. Or if I could take back the last one.

[People say and do all sorts of things when they're upset - he knows that better than anybody - but apologies are always a good place to start.]
Say something about how aliens made you do it, if you don't want to give the real reason.

Anyway, he definitely looks at some of those clothes Kim's got there.]
So, you got all this from the machine?

Uh-huh. Nothing like Saba, but maybe some of this belongs to someone here?
